I HATE this class. She makes us do too much group work which makes my notes unorganized and confusing, rather than helpful. When she proofreads my paper, she makes corrections that are grammatically incorrect and do not make any sense. Hoping that it gets better.

She made thesis manageable and enjoyable. She broke the entire thing down into stages and made it not so stressful. She is super helpful and dedicated to helping you with your thesis. Take her for thesis!

Very nice woman. She does group work every class and expects participation. Was a bit unclear on what was to be done on the research paper. Is always available through email if you have questions. Not my favorite professor, but I don't mind coming to her class.

Swensen is really nice and a good professor. She puts her powerpoints online after each chapter and outlines everything for papers and tests. She does have a tendency to say "umm" and "ahh" a lot but I would take her for thesis also. Deff try and take a class with her

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS WOMAN!! She is an awesome teacher! Her tests are mult choice and "essays" which are very simple paragraphs you review for. Her class is soo interesting and she makes you observe young children, YOU LEARN SOO MUCH. I had this class at 8am and i was never tired. You also get a lot of movies and short clips as visual aids =]

She is the sweetest lady you'll ever meet. She cares about her students and trys to help them succeed. She is a great teacher. Talk to her if you need help.. she G-chats a lot and always answers quickly. Two papers and 3 or 4 easy tests. TAKE HER!

Very nice professor, but also very boring. She divides your grade with 3 tests, 2 major papers (1 observation, 1 research [both 4-7 pgs]), class participation, and the final. She tells you everything to know for each test. If you go to class, do your papers, and participate regularly.. this class will be easy-breezy. I definitely recommend her!

Amazing professor who is extremely intelligent in what she taught. She answers questions, clears confussed questions, tests are easy. Changes teaching style with group projects, watching videos, and powerpoint. She is just helpful and kind to all of her students. Take her! she's the best!
