Dail is a great English teacher because he his passionate about his job. His lectures were very entertaining. You would think we weren't even learning, but he was able to connect essay topics to real life issues. He taught us writing techniques that high school teachers neglected.

Doesn't teach viable material. Just sits and chats about "interesting (but unrelated) topics" in class and expects you to write a paper. Gives vague and useless advise in his office hours. He needs to stop talking about "things we didn't know in life" and teach english. It's an english class, not a fun-fact seminar.

Professor Dail is an amazing English professor! He's been by far thee best English professor I have had the pleasure of taking a course with. He's a very good instructor, clear, and gets straight to the point. However, You do need the textbook in order to pass the class. I'd take another English course with him if it ever comes to be offered.

i've taken him for two english classes so far, and by far he's been the best english teacher i've had. his lectures are interesting even though he has a tendancy to go off topic about politics a lot. he's keen to being grammer perfect so watch out

This guy personality wise is awesome, his lectures are among the best i've heard. But beware he is a grammar devil, he'll kill you on grammar. You cant pull an essay the day before it's due on this guy, he'll know it and you'll get burn.

Dail is a super professor. He really desires to connect with the student with his humor and discussions. He gives weekly pop quizzes so be sure to be ready for those. He grades quite easily but be careful with grammar and cite properly. Overall, very fun!

Jim Dail is a pretty cool teacher. He holds interesting discussions and he is pretty lenient when it comes to grades. I highly recommend him if you're taking English 1C. Also, Mr. Dail periodicly has pop quizzes and he is strick about grammar and MLA.
