Best professor at Sul Ross! His class are a delight, insightful and I have learned an incredible amount from this man. I highly recommend taking any class you can with him.

Comment:

Taken a couple of Geology courses with him. He's INCREDIBLY knowledgeable in his specific areas of study (vulcanology and planetary geology) but sometimes a little difficult to understand because he forgets that not everyone worked at Lancaster and Brown and has buddies at NASA. Seems like he should be teaching at a harder university than Sul Ross, but his tests actually aren't all that grueling.

Comment:

Class will be very slow at times, just go with the flow and stop him before you are lost because he will continue to get you even more lost if you don't clarify things. Don't get frustrated, especially if you are in the 1401 classes, most people will fail the first exam but will get at least a B in the class if not an A.
