When he is stuck at the computer for the dual distance ed classes, class drags on a bit more. But if it's a campus only class, he passes things around and is more dynamic. Either way, he is the most methodical, clear, prof. He has tons of experience and knowledge on the subject and is really kind and helpful. Provides lots of materials. Great prof.

An outstanding professor. His humor is dry and he speaks a bit monotone, but the information he gives is clear and builds on it's self. Very interesting, will take as many classes as possible!

Good professor; knows his subject well. One word of caution: he speaks with a monotone voice and their is little class interaction. Just be sure to get plenty of sleep or bring coffee to class so you will not fall asleep. Do your work, show up, study a little; you will do good in his class.

Took a couple of geology courses with him. He has a very dry sense of humor, but if you pick up on it, it makes Geology...well, as interesting as physics slowed down with some trees on top can be. I reccomend Elements of Chaos (aka Dinosaurs, Earthquakes and Volcanos) to non-geology majors looking for an easy and interesting science credit. He had a lot of great guest speakers when I took the class, though I suppose that could vary depending on who's available.

The guy knows his stuff, ask questions and don't worry about how you feel as he seems like you are bothering him, he actually likes questions because it helps lead the class from the same old thing. He has the driest sense of humor at Sul Ross, just work with it.
