He is a nice guy, knows the material really well. If you attend the class, study his study guide. You will be OK. Unfortunately, if you are major in ECO, please don't take this class. It is really basic concept. It is good for those who want to get the credit. I got A in both 201 & 202 in the same semester.

has a thick accent. he's got a good sense of humor but has a tendency to drift off and talk about unnecessary stuffs. got himself confused quite often also. made me wonder if he actually knows the subject well enough to teach others. constantly asks "are you guys with me?" ..no..not really. take his class only if you're desperate.

Great teacher. The class itself is hard, but Dr.Kim provides great examples to help you understand certain material. Take the 4 week course. He gives practice tests and if you are lucky, extra credit. There is a mid term and final the 2nd and 4th week. He is hilarious and I really enjoyed his class.

I took 201 & 202 with him back-to-back in the same semester (two A's). Fri class is 3 hours & Sat is no more than 4 hours. Def. worth it: he is smart and hilarious, and although his accent is thick, he provides great examples to teach the concepts. Good study guides, curves tests, provides extra credit. Book not required, just always show up.

TAKE HIS WEEKEND CLASS! Don't be bothered by the Friday, Sat schedule or the long hrs. He cuts class HOURS short every time and if you study the notes and the practice tests, you'll get an A in only 4 weeks.

Very good teacher, understands what he's talking about and explains with easy everyday examples. If you don't understand something, he will go back and answer your question. Study the lecture notes and practice tests and the class won't be difficult. Two exams (multiple choice) and attendence = quick A!! Nice guy and worth taking! =)

He is organized. There are mid & final terms, which decide the grade. Multiple choices. His lecture notes are the key to pass the exam. Weekend class sounds bad, but you wouldnt regret taking him for just a month. Im taking 202 this semister.

Dr. Kim is a good teacher. As hard as economics can be, he makes it simple to understand, focusing on keypoints and concepts. He's also helpful, answers questions in class(some students did it too much, but he knew when to cut it). The tests were not too bad, he wasn't out to get you. Good teacher, actually somewhat cares.
