Dr. Anguera is an amazing professor and is very passionate about his work as a Gerontologist. His tests are very tricky because of the wording, and you do have to attend class, but if you pay attention in lecture, he gives you so so much useful relevant information. He's very understanding and has great speakers come in and talk to the class.

By far the most boring class I took at SDSU. He takes off points if you miss class, but the tests are pretty easy. Just do all the readings, which I did the night before, and skim through the powerpoints and you'll get an A. Nice guy, but super boring.

He is very nice and helpful. Responds to your emails very quickly!! Love that! His poject essays need to be done exactly how he wants them or else you will not get a good grade on them. Tests are not bad at all. attendance is mandatory, plan on being in there until the exact time it ends! Good class to take.

Very helpful, nice teacher. If you have never read academic articles it may be a little tough to understand readings in 350 and 360 at times. Other than that it's really not that hard. Tests aren't too bad either. He will help you A LOT if you just ask.

I love Prof Anguera! Not only is the class super easy, but I learned so much and had a greater appreciation for older people. You should go to class for the participation points and also, it makes the tests so much easier. Read all the online articles because there are a lot of questions on the test about them.

Attendance is mandatory in this class. After one absence, your grade drops 5% in that category and he takes attendance at the end of class by asking a question about the powerpoint/lecture. The class is pretty boring. He just reads from the powerpoint...bring a laptop if you can to occupy your time. Hardly anyone paid attention.

Awesome teacher. His Spanish Accent gets you through the class along with his funny stories. Lots of Guest speakers who are interesting. Writings are easy 100% if you follow what he wants. Highly recommend this class.

Great class! He is one of the best teachers at state. If you are a gero major or minor you'll find he teaches almost all the classes. He is Full of energy. Attendance is mandatory, extra credi for showing up every day. 3 papers (easy grader). 2 tests( extremely hard, read questions very carefully) Policy is a great course to take.

Very easy class. Be sure to drink coffee beforehand b/c the lectures can be boring. all the papers are really easy & make sure you follow directions. He grades easily on them Make sure to show up in class or he'll dock you five points from your total grade. Only 2 tests, just study alot. Very nice & approachable guy too.

Easy class..no book.Only powerpoints.an immense amount of reading--keep on top of them AS SOON as he posts them. I didnt get the A I wanted because I did not study for the final--but you can get an A...please when you present your powerpoint on "Images of Aging" Do not try to persude others to be such and such a way...just present "Images of Aging"

Professor Anguera.. What can you say about him? He is a great teacher! He is fun, tries everything to make his students laugh. Nice guy. Attendance everyday. Tests a bit hard. Easy grader on essays and final project. He is a funny man though.
