Amazing teacher! If you are lazy I would suggest not taking this class. The homework is very fair for the class level, the test could be hard if you skip classes, but all test material is covered in class. I?ve learned a lot. He is very interesting and always willing to help.

Very nice guy, tests were straightforward (multiple choice, fill in the blank) if you listened/studied. On the day of the final he let us choose if we wanted to take it or not, as it would not help us learn anything.

If you have anything more than casual computer skills this class is a breeze. Tests never took me more than 20 minutes to complete and assignments are pretty much graded for completion. If you need an easy elective, this is it.

Whatever you do, do not take a class from Komar. He will only read off the textbook powerpoint slides and grouchily regards students as lazy if they don't do well on his bizarre tests. I hated this past semester because of his class, and I am not one to whine about classes being too hard. Avoid at all costs and take Raymond or Chung instead!

Can't teach, never uses book reads just off of powerpoints, never changed his curriculum for the new version of Java, making what you are doing longer and harder skipped over areas because of this. If u get him change immediately

I took him for QMCS490 also, lectures are boring, he gets confused, tests are easy if you can memorize functions and methods, but I didn't want to do that so I failed 2 tests. A in 425, C in 490.
