His only Rule is Not to be Late. He Teaches the Class wonderfully. He is very clear and helpful. You very well understand what he is looking for. I would totally take him again. He is like the best professor. You need to really consider taking him if you want to pass.

Really great professor. Had him my freshman year and still read the books he assigned to us. He really pushes you to your limit as far as papers go; there were only 2 written during the semester so it's not a big deal. I wouldn't call it an easy A, but if you work hard and communicate with him you can get a high grade. Highly recommend him!

Awesome professor!!! He makes class very interesting and engaging and always has engages the class in interesting discussions. don't know if he still does it but will put a philosophy quote at the beginning of class to discuss. don't be late though cuz he will embarrass you. told me I wrote really well and gave me option of doing standard final res

Nice guy, but quite odd. BTW dont be late to class, he WILL call you out on it in front of everyone and embarrass you, as well as call on you for the remainder of the class. He incorporates more history into this class than english. His class isnt very structured, in fact he doesnt collect anything until the last day of class.

what's not to love???!! i'm almost reluctant to give him a good score because then his classes might fill up even faster then they already do! :( but seriously, prof. ohren is an AWESOME professor and a genuinely nice person. he cares for his students, and i would suggest him to ANYONE!!!!!!! 5/5!

Prof Ohren was an awesome prof! His classes are really fun, interesting and different from the other profs. There is work that you have to do but he's really easy. Just do the hw, go to class and participate and you're sure to get a good grade!

this guy is a character. try to get him to like you, and he'll cut you so much slack. if he thinks youre skipping too much class or not participating, he will not give you a good grade. ITs a wicked easy class, just do the work and you'll get an A.
