McDaniel is hilarious and captivates his students by being animated and asking open-ended questions. He knows what he's talking about, and his lectures show it. Challenges students to use cognitive skills. Great teacher.

Amazing teacher. Very interesting,intelligent, and passionate. He also has a great sense of humor. If you pay attention you realize he is teaching you much more then history or politics. I highly recommend his classes.

My favorite teacher of all time in college. He has a great command over what he teaches and a great wealth of knowledge to back it up. Had both sections of American History with him as well as his Pol. Science class. If you are a history lover you will never want to leave this class!! Very intelligent, thoughtfuland has a great sense of humor.

He does talk fast like someone else said, but he makes it soooo fun. DON'T TEXT - it upset him. "IF YOU'RE TEXTING, YOU MUUUUST STOP!" Who can blame him? It's rude. He's a great teacher, and if you listen, you will learn a lot about how our society and our world needs to change its priorities.

I had Intro to Political Science with McDaniel and absolutely loved it! He is very passionate (as am I) about politics and he is open to hearing other peoples opinions! NO BOOK or TESTS! All we had were essays that we did at home and brought them in! AWESOME INSTRUCTOR, I wish we would move to SEMO to teach! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Very passionate and opinionated about history and government. He tries to be even-handed with his views, but some can't accept that because they aren't open-minded. He is also very sexy not only due to physical appearance, but because of his personality and convictions.

Greatest Professor I have had on campus, he really knows his stuff and is willing to give help if you come to him for assistance. His tests are tricky but they are cool. He is a funny guy who is passionate about what he teaches. Love his classes and I would suggest to any freshmen to take him.

I loved this class not because of history but there is a certain sexiness to mr. mcdanial. He is an interesting man and his use of certain 'choice words' were halarious. His class was never a bore!
