Comment:

I had a hard time with Dressler. I was very interested in this class, and that did not disappoint. But I felt he graded unnecessarily hard and was very confusing. He talks during clips so no one can hear and he loves to pompously state the obvious. Maybe others enjoy him, but for me he made a fun subject stressful and dull.

Comment:

displays history in an entertaining way, he ask many questions during lecture but always answers them himself haha. There are no suprises, he has everything laid out in a notebook he gives you. You will read on average 6 pages a week out of the textbook and that is for weekly quiz. SAVE YOUR QUIZZES AND MEMORIZE THEM BECAUSE HE USES THEM ON EXAM.

Really enjoyed this professor. Not big on CIV but he made it enjoyable. I liked the way he presented the notes to us and he gives you a syllabus with everything to study for each test on the first day! Must read the book to do well on 20 point quizzes. we have about 11 and he drops the lowest 2. Highly recommend

A goofy, corny professor who thinks he is speaking in front of the Congress when he teaches. Very professional, smart, detail-oriented. He will ask during class "Have you done your reading for today?" each time, so be prepared and READ the assigned pages and more.

very good teacher, kinda goofy lookin with his combover and some goofy jokes but he teaches well and you can learn a lot from him. quizzes everyday but theyre easy if you just read the material plus he dropped the 7 lowest quiz grades.

Dr. Dressler is awesome. I struggle with civ but he made things much easier. you are provided with all the study guides and information at the beginning. there are 7 point quizzes every day but do the reading and you will be fine and he drops the lowest 6 at the end. i highly suggest this class!

Dressler is awesome. You get all of the test study guides at the beginning of the year. THERE ARE NO SURPRISES! The only thing is, there are quizes everyday worth 7 points. If you miss, that's a 0. But he does offer extra credit. I enjoy his class very much and I hate history.

Dressler is a very funny guy who really makes his lecture interesting and also ties things together where you can learn more easily. I loved himas a teacher, he has a very colorful style to is lectures. Very helpful also. The way he does the essays at home for the test makes it so nice

Dr. Dressler is a great teacher and I reccomend him to anyone. He makes class enjoyable and he makes class as easy as he can. Sure you need to study a lil bit but not a lot. Review before the tests and if you have any question be sure to ask he doesn't mind at all!

Loved his class. Loved it. He was willing to discuss the students' ideas, rather than simply lecturing all the time. Also, it really helps to have all your notes and the subjects for the essay questions on all the semester tests handed to you on the first day. :)

He is very organised, and definatly makes the class fun, and exciting. If you are tired of guessing what is going to be on test and essays, TAKE HIM! He is a WONDERFUL teacher, and he is very understanding if you have to miss class, he always gives you time to make up quizes!! HE'S GREAT!!!!
