I had John Griffin for the Semester in Regensburg, Germany Program. He was a fantastic program director!!!! He taught a joint class with HON 252 and Humanities. There are class discussions lead by students. John only interrupts when necessary. If read the books and talk in class then getting an A should be cake.

I learned a ton about Germany in this class. Covered arts, music, daily life, government etc (you know, like it says in the undergrad catalog). Reading is easy as both books we had could be read in less than a day. Probably the easiest prof I've ever had to talk to. Can't rate high enough

This class is REALLY hard for a 105 class. It is very boring, and he is not very helpfull. He didn't even give us a study guide for the final, yet it is comprehensive. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! This class is a waste of time, and there is WAY TOO MUCH busy work! If you have this class, I'm sorry!

I thought the class would be like, let's learn the holidays Germans celebrate and other cultural things, but not it is like the political and economic structure of Germany. Don't waste your time with this amount of boring busy work.

When he announces that we have a quiz, no one had a clue what material would be covered on it. His notes are very confusing. Too much busy work, just like high school crap!!!
