Took him for consulting and he definitely understands consulting but is vague unless you ask him to teach specific things. The entire class is pretty much dependent on how well you meet your client's needs. We definitely gained real-world experience but could have used more guidance.

Dr. Hickman is extremely helpful and you can tell he really loves consulting. Put the required effort into this class and you will get a good grade

Hickman is one of those few teachers who seem to actually care about their students... You can tell he really loves consulting. The class was easy, but alot of outside work. (real world experience!) It was a twice a week class, but we only met once a week. He gave us the other time to meet w/ our clients. Very nice guy. Take him!

Didn't help me out at all on consulting project, when problems could have easily been resolved. Boring as hell. Completely unorganized. Grading was ridiculous. Received lower grades for presentations than those who didn't even present. By far the worst teacher I have ever had at Salisbury.

Good class and good teacher. Good presentations. However, lose the ties but keep the body!
