Comment:

This class is an easy A with a terrible professor. The reading assignments are ridiculous, but Sparksnotes, Shmoop, or any other website should help. Never actually read anything did pretty well in his class anyways. Look up summaries and analysis to prepare you for his quizzes which are essay questions. One oral report is due, pretty clear rubric.

He is a good professor and means well for all his students. That being said, it can be very reading intensive. Anticipate 100 page reading assignments from one class to the next. Show up to class, don't be late, and you should do okay. He is a stickler for grammatical errors so be as accurate as you can.

If anyone has said anything bad about this professor is because you got on his bad side. Do not miss class, do not come late, and do not leave during his lectures. These three things are key to passing his class. Participation also matters to him, specially if you sound knowledgable about the readings. The quizzes are easy and easy grader.

One Paper, Presentation, essay formatted midterm and final, and three essay quizzes. He's not as bad as people write. Do the work, its college. Actually really funny at times and he knows a lot of interesting info. Loved his class and learned a lot. PS: don't leave for the bathroom or come late. (he marks you absent for lateness)

Definitely not as bad as some of the reviews said he was. Yeah, some of the things he says in class are confusing and off-the-wall, but just write it down and repeat it back on tests and the term paper and you'll be fine. His accent is super annoying and he's a little strange, but he's a nice guy overall

I had a great time in this class. He'll keep you busy, there's an in class essay every week. Your responses don't have to agree with him, so long as you have an argument for your side. Great selection of stories. Exams may be long enough to leave your hand cramping, but grading is rather relaxed so don't worry about it too much.

This professor is a waste. He is so unhelpful. His quizzes & tests are all essay form & grades them according to how he thinks the answer is correct as opposed to a standard test & correct answer. He def has favorites. Attendance is required. Loads of work, might as well be a 4 credit class. AVOID HIM - do yourself the favor.

annoying & **** just about sums it up. he is so anal about closing the windows & the blinds. he hates sunshine. you can never use the bathroom. one time he told a student to pee out the window. he grades you however he feels like. DO NOT TAKE HIM! especially for a summer class - too much work & no sunshine. pfff.

Complete ****. If you dont agree with him, youre wrong. Very subjective. He has no grading system & grades you however he wants. If you inquire him about grades, youll get "because thats what you deserved". He has favorites & if you arent one of them, youre assed out. He gives Quizzes every other class.
