Comment:

In all of my years of education, I cannot be emphatic enough about this teacher being the worst I've ever had. He has no passion or enthusiasm, shows up utterly miserable, disengaged, and lifeless. He tasks you with work that he cares nothing about. He looks at you with this vacant expression as he delivers perfunctory responses. He's a failure.

Comment:

Grading is hard and ridiculous, based off of a single point system. He was helpful to me, but the class ended with ~6 students. It gets easier if you stick with it, and he will check your papers if you ask. A class you have to stick with until the end before you can appreciate it. Unless you are sure you can pass, don't take this class.

Horrible teacher.. he is clear that he wants you to write a structured paper, but then deducts points when you dont write it in HIS words (even if structure is perfect). His grading system is detrimental to your GPA .... you earn a 100%, a 50% or a ZERO there is no in between. If you type a good paper one mistake pretty much fails you.

His grading is a joke. there are only 26 possible points in the class and you need only 15 to pass (its not that easy) i did everything i needed to and still may not get a B his test are extremely hard even though there are only two. you need to go to class to pass u dont need the book only for hw but you can photocopy at the libraryDO NOT TAKE HIM

As a teacher he is completely worthless. 10 weeks into the semester and I haven't learned a thing, except to fulfill his check list. That is not writing, that is bogus. When I go on to a university I will have to deal with a new teacher with a new style of writing. So why learn to fulfill his check list when what I really need is to learn to write?

BY FAR THE WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD. he doesn't explain anything but expects you to know exactly how to do it. his class is based on a 15 point grading scale but it is impossible to get points in his class unless you are an absolutely perfect writer. he is not helpful what so ever. save yourself the head ache and money and DO NOT TAKE HIM

For whoever in the future read this, DO NOT EVER take his class, unless you are a FREAKING GENIUS NERD WHO KNOWS HOW TO DO AN ESSAY PROBABLY. He's not gonna teach u anything, go in and write essays, once a week,his grading system based on a 21 points which will make sure your average grade is C. Trust me, he is not even the least you wanna go with

After the first essay was returned the instructor told the class that all our essays sucked. The class started with 32 students, after 3 weeks there are 11 students left. Apparently our essays weren't the only thing that sucked.

the whole semester is based off a 21 point grading system. pass or fail class. his teaching method is ridiculous, he isn't fair when grading, and is not in anyway helpful. you're way better off with another professor.

Lundquist provided clear-cut instructions on how every paper needs to be done. You don't have to be an intelligent writer to pass, but you have to be able to follow directions. With two chances for extra credit, how can you go wrong? I feel like I've gone through English bootcamp, but I'm leaving with a newfound confidence in essay writing.

By far the worst professor I have ever taken. His grading scale is absolutely ridiculous and the format he wants the essays in are impractical. He grades very hard, will give a zero if you have 9 sentences in a paragraph. Find a different professor. If stuck, follow the rubric WORD FOR WORD.

Very difficult class becuase you have to write so many essays, almost one a week. Makes you work very hard and sometimes it is not even worth it because you can get 0 pts on the essay. Grading system is the weirdest one I have ever seen. Only 18 points possible in the class and you can only miss one point to get an A. He's difficult and frustrating

Terrible teacher. I have always done well in English and practically failed this class. No legitimate instruction as per his research essays (until after they are returned with a majority of 50%). INSANE grading scale (whole class worth 20pts). Not recommended ever! No real life application. Terrible! Avoid like the plauge!

this is by far the worst professor i had in college. the only reason i dont have a 4.0 is because of him. he gives A students c's and fails everyone else. DO NOT TAKE THIS GUY. HE IS HORRIBLE. I took eng 110 in winter intersession with another professor and got an A. save yourself a horrible semester and DO NOT TAKE HIM
