Lots of homework, but as long as you do it the tests are super easy. 2 homeworks due every two weeks and 4 tests throughout the semester which you schedule in the testing center.

Class itself is pretty tough. Tests are VERY confusing compared to the homework. Make sure you do the homework or youll fail.

Joni is the best teacher Ive ever had. She is sweet, positive, and cares so much for her students. She tells you everything you need to know for exams and you don't have to go to class because she puts everything online. Her tests are based on the information she provides you and the SimNet assignments are easy.

She is a great teacher, the material is super detailed BUT she does highlight everything you need to know for her tests (there are 4) on her notes so you don't have to cherry pick it yourself. Unfortunately, the ISDS department is changing this class for Fall 2019, so don't expect it to easy like all the other reviews say. She is also retiring.

Super EASY! Went to the first class and never went back. Take online to save some money; taking it in class is such a waste. She post everything you need to know online. She tells you specifically what you need to know for the exams. Mainly Excel/definitions, 10 questions from 1 exam are math related.

I love Joni. She very clearly loves her job and cares about students. She gives you everything you could possibly need to be successful in the class. Read over powerpoints and word docs and you will get an A. Utilize quizlets on the material. I've heard her reg. class and online class are exactly the same, but I took online.

TAKE THE ONLINE CLASS. Being at a lecture is not important, powerpoints are all online with specifics of "KNOW THIS." Lots of projects/homework but only worth 18 points with all things averaged. Study case studies and notes, and the tests are pretty simple. This class is really irrelevant. It is just memorizing case studies/notes.

This is the easiest class I have taken at LSU. She gives you powerpoints with EXACTLY what you need to know for the exams. She is very nice and posts grades very quickly. I'd recommend taking online if you can because I never went to class since it isn't mandatory.

Lots of homework. She doesn't teach a lot but posts all materials online, so you don't need to class, just study hard by yourself and you will be good.

By far the most lively professor at LSU, always came to class with energy. You don't really have to go to class, and she posts everything on moodle. Tests are easy and after taking stats this class is a breeze. She simplifies everything and tells you exactly whats going to be on the exam. Definitley would recommend.

She was nice. Tests were easy if you studied. I went to three classes. Only complaint is I was .2 points away from the next letter grade and she wouldn't bump me up. Other than that she was helpful and the class was pretty easy as a whole.

Hands down the easiest ISDS I have taken yet. Took in the online format and just printed the powerpoints and chapter summaries and whatever she highlighted or emphasized I studied and got all As and Bs on the tests. She makes it very clear what you need to learn for the tests and the SimNet work is fairly simple, I just made sure to get 100s on all

I loved Ms. Joni! I only went to class the first few weeks though because she makes it very easy to just do the class online. Her notes are posted and you only need to learn what is underlined and highlighted. Super easy A, just make sure to study a couple of days before the test.

Joni seems charming and nice, but she's actually very patronizing. Reviewing an exam and being told the reason you got a question wrong is "because you have a beautiful mind" is not good feedback. Apart from that, the course has 5 tests and is generally an easy A. Beware, she shuts down during exam week and won't communicate at all (often).

Just be warned right now - this class isn't like ISDS 2000 at all. It's much more conceptual stuff rather than formulas. She has lots of online projects that are really easy. She also puts up notes that tell you specifically what you need to know from the powerpoints. Just follow these notes and ignore the powerpoints, and you're good to go.

The content is very nice but the online settings ruined it. I wish we had lectures and an instructor that talks about the cases and explain them. The applications of everything we had verbally. I am more of a verbal+visual person than reading.

There was a lot of homework and projects at the beginning of the semester but thats with any ISDS class. She is so nice and sends out study material and you only have to know what she bolds and underlines. She gives you every opportunity to make an A.
