Mr Jucewicz is a very good instructor and he knows his topic. He provides slide shows so you can take notes for his lectures. If you take notes you will do fine on tests. Participation is a must.

He is the only professor I have had that got me interested in Gov. He makes the class interesting, participation matters, he loves questions and you must do the reading which are more than 20pgs long. He has a quiz every class based on the reading . He encourages the whole class to get into politics, to find out what party we are and get engaged.

Great guy, Better professor. He's a tough one, but if you want to leave a class feeling as if you actually learned something he is your guy. Think of Bill Belichick mixed with Jon Stewart. Very stoic, but low key the kind of person you would love to have a beer with.

Professor Jucewicz is a great guy. I actually learned a lot about politics from him. He makes politics enjoyable which is hard to do. He's also extremely funny and kind. There is one essay, and quizzes every week. Tests are a little tough. He has power point slides online for students.

Absolutely wonderful professor! I didn't give a hoot about government or elections before I took this class, but he presented it in such a way that it was easy to understand and enjoyable to learn.

Professor is awesome! Participation is vital, great sense of humor. Be sure to take notes and keep up on the readings. Quizzes are given every week, and consist a quarter of your grade. His instructions are crystal clear and is more than willing to help you. When you ask him questions, he takes the time to give you a meaningful answer. Take him!

Consistent in teaching. Lectures and quizzes weekly. It's politics from an unbiased perspective laced with humor. Some lectures can be like pulling teeth but he's able to engage students and make them interesting. You will come out of this course with a better understanding of our government (assuming you come to class regularly and participate)

I really enjoyed this class, but it was definitely not the easiest to get through. You definitely need to participate in class to get a good grade and know and understand the material. If you have questions, make sure you ask. The teacher is hilarious.

I had Prof. Jucewicz for Gov't and Politics of Cities and States. While I only had him for on semester, I have to say this was probably my favorite class. Very great sense of humor and very knowledgable on the intricacies of local gov't and events. Easy quiz/mult choice but very tough grader on essays, make sure to include all facets of a subject.

Very challenging & rewarding class - read the text & the posts & use the online tools & you will learn a lot! Lots of reading, but worth it. Great, dry sense of humor, really knows his stuff - best prof I've had and would recommend - but must be willing to do the work. 2 papers, weekly quizzes, mid term & final. Definitely recommend.

Professor Jucewicz has been the best professor I've had at HACC. He keeps things interesting and is really sarcastic and he also has a dry sense of humor. It's really important to read the text book and the articles he posts. If you do this, you'll get a good grade.
