Comment:

This class was certainly interesting. You learn a lot about how to write formal business letters, memos, reports, etc. The only drawback is that if you make the slightest mistake on any assignments, you need to fix and resubmit it. At first it was annoying, but thats how it is in the real world. Tests are really easy. Overall, good professor.

honestly this is the absolute worst teacher i have ever had in my life. shes on a total power trip. you hand in an assignment and she basically crosses everything out and inserts word for word what she wants you to say. dont bother answering questions in class, youll NEVER EVER be close to correct. shes awfully disrespectful and a horrible teacher.

WOW hated this class with a passion.The writing assignments were easy but if it wasn't EXACTLY what she wanted, she gave it back and said to redo it. She speaks clear English, but makes no sense 1/2 the time.We don't learn how to write resumes,or anything at all for that matter.Nice woman, meh professor, awful class. Got an A tho (no idea how)

prof chu is a good teacher. for some she may give out a lot of work- she gives out 10 writing assignments, an extra credit assignment, midterm and final but they're all pretty easy. just go to class, do the assignmnents, correct them and hand them back on a regular basis until they're error free and you're golden.

Prof. Chu is an excellent professor. She gives you eight writing assignments which you can revise as many times as you need to make them perfect. She also gives a midterm and final, but tells you what topics to study for them. Easy A - highly recommended.

Don't take her if you expect to be treated as a competent college student. I'm a senior and I went insane. It was like high school English class all over again. Explains the same thing over and over and over, and DEFINITELY has favorites. Just show up and do your assignments, they're not hard. Sitting through the lecture is though.

Awesome professor. I dont know what those other reviews are about. But you will learn how to write with a business state of mind. There is no way you can get lower than a B in her class. How hard could it be to write a business memo. Whenever she makes corrections make sure you do it correctly. She notices everything. But a GREAT Professor.

Very nice professor easy class alot of work for easy subject but she gives helpful information explains everything due gives alot of assignments but tests are easy has favorites so suck up from the beginning go everyday and hand in all assignments doesnt like lateness do the work and a A is possible
