Don't let the other reviews fool you, his class is definitely one worth taking. His lectures were always interesting, as he is extremely knowledgeable in his field. Go to class and definitely read the textbook chapters before the exams - it is crucial if you want an A.

Comment:

Very knowledgeable about the subject matter.... because he invented it. The book is written by him and he brags sooo much about how successful he is. It's a little painful at times to think of how much money you are paying to hear him brag about himself. Some of the things he taught were related to real life. Overall, not great.

He is a pretty arrogant guy and will tell you plenty how many books he has published and show you the picture of his face on a billboard in China. Being that he wrote the book used in class he is very knowledgeable about the subject and is not too boring to listen too. I've never asked him a question because I didnt want to die. Good Luck!!

Great professor with amazing amount of knowledge and global experience. He can come across as arrogant in class since he discusses lots of very own published works and textbooks. Extremely helpful both in and out of class. I'd highly recommend his graduate class - GRBA 814!

These classes are very large but if you can get over the intimidation of asking questions in front of 200+ you will find how intelligent and clear this man is. Lots of extra credit, read the book and take good notes in class (keep off FB) and his class is a piece of cake plus he gives you interesting facts about the world economy.

It is true that Luthans is arrogant, but if you take his ego as a joke he's hilarious. If you aren't going to pay attention in class then maybe college is not the right place for you. His lectures are great. Pay attention, read the text, you'll be fine. He is probably the smartest man in CBA and possibly UNL.

Probably the best professor in his field. Very interesting material but there is a lot and it is hard to learn it all for his exams. You have to read the textbook cover to cover to get a good grade. Its a tough class but one worth taking.

if you are concerned about your grade, do not take this instructor. He only makes you read the book, and gives you exam. If you miss a small part of the reading you are going to miss questions. He makes his job very easy for himself doesn't assist students at all. He also think so highly of himself as if his Einstein. I do not recommend him at all.

I personaly would never take another class with fred luthans. Even though i got A- i worked my butt off for it.i was only taking 2 class for the semester i had to study 8 hours a day to get prepared for his exams. also he acts as if his Einstein as if his the only unique teacher for management courses. Overall his horroble.

one of the best lecturers ive ever had (very funny and keeps you entertained). Hard tests but he gives a lot of extra credit and scales all the tests so not too hard to get an A if youre well prepared.

Luthans is more arrogant and full of himself than anyone else I have ever met. His tests are extremely specific, so if you don't pay attention for 5 minutes, you'll probably miss 5 test questions. And of course he's one of those professors that assigns MULTIPLE textbooks that he wrote himself.

Wow this guy likes to talk about himself and the subjects he created... Psych CAp anyone?? Very knowledge on the subject due to his numerous books writing on the subject... I worked my butt off for a B+... Advice take the opportunity to get extra credit whenever he offers it.. if he even does>.
