She is such a sweet lady. I enjoyed having her as a teacher. I wish all my teachers were as patient and understanding as she is. If you do all your work and show great effort you will pass the course. Only downside is that her Labs take forever to finish.

Comment:

Knows what she's talking about but doesn't explain in ways students can understand. Tries her best to scale grades but too many questions on tests that aren't covered well enough or at all in class. Labs an extra credit paper will save you. Tutor didn't do much. Take notes, ready from the book and cross ur fingers she scales the test so U can pass.

She is awful! If you choose her do your homework & keep your lab grade high, you will most ikely not pass an exam because most do not. It is doable, but for your own sanity pick another teacher.

horrible teacher. reads class grades out loud to everyone. teaches at an incomprehensible level for non chem majors. she does give a lot of take homes which is the only way i passed the class. nice lady, bad teacher.

She is hard and easy at the same time. She does not use slideshow, just straight lectures. She is decent in explaination but the material is still fairly difficult. She gives a lot of take home tests and a few in class. The homework is only passed in sometimes depending on your grade on the previous test.

Such a great professor! Thorough educator, makes chemistry interesting and fun! She is always available for help, and cares about her students! Make sure you do the work, this is not a blow off, but do the reading and go to class/lab. Her tests are straight forward, most are multiple choice, and some fill in.

very nice lady but not very good at teaching. teaches from her notecards. her notes can be unclear and all over the place. if you're not into chemistry i recommend reading the chapters before she teaches them so you don't get overwhelmed and confused. she's good with helping you if you need extra help. exams are tough so pay attention in class

Judith is great! She is a sweet little lady who just happens to teach the worst class! She tries to explain it in lamens terms but she is just too smart to dumb it down. Go to class, go to lab, and laugh at her jokes and youll be golden!

She is the sweetest little woman in the world, she giggles at herself all the time. BUT, it is a hard course, its not necessarily her, but the subject itself. She wants everyone to do well and scales all the time, and its so obvious that labs are there to boost your grade. Pay attention,dont skip,and take good notes and you should be fine

This class was hard, even though I was interested in chemistry. There was a lot of homework assigned, and about 4-5 tests during the year. The labs do help with your grade. Studying for the tests I would have to start a week before to understand everything, because there is a lot. Over-all I did enjoy this class, but it requires a lot of effort.

Ciottone is a hard teacher. I did about 4 hours of homework a night, but she is a big scaler and tries to make everyone pass. Her labs are very fair and help your grade out tremendously i got a B- but it does require work!
