Comment:

I've had Boehm for both MAT 2010 and 2020 and he really is an amazing teacher! Very inspirational and always there for you outside of class if you need help. I honestly found calc 1 & 2 to not be that difficult with him as my instructor. And lectures are never boring since he's always telling jokes.

Comment:

I studied with Mr. Boehm from Pre Calculus and Calculus I at Wayne State University in 2001/2002. He is truly a dedicated teacher who cares about his students. I went on to earn a degree in Mechanical Engineering thanks to a strong mathematics foundation. If you have the chance to take his class and workshop in parallel, I highly recommend!!

Comment:

Mr. Boehm is not only a fantastic professor but also an extraordinary person. He truly wants his students to succeed. The material sunk into my head little outside review. Calc 2 isn't easy but it sure felt that way thanks to Boehm. My favorite math professor by far. The tests are fair and reflective of his review guides although not identical.

Comment:

Boehm is a great, hands-on teacher who goes out of his way to make sure you succeed. Though his teaching style didn't quite match my needs, Boehm was constantly available for review and help outside of the classroom. It's obvious that he cares. He's also hilarious, so if you want a good laugh with your Calculus, Boehm is the way to go.

Dr. Boehm is a great professor who cares about his students and wants to see them succeed, always available for help. But I sometimes felt intimidated to go see him since I had some very basic math qs, (had a big gap btwn calciii). He is so smart that when he'd explain things I still wouldn't get it ha, so lot of times I'd get help elsewhere.

Not only a crystal-clear, amazing teacher, but one of the greatest people you'll ever meet. This man always saw something in me that I never before saw in myself, and it changed my life how much confidence he had in me.

Take him! I have him for Calc 1 now and I am hoping I have him for Calc 2! He loves to joke around! He gives everyone nicknames. He is very helpful and always wants you to "play ahead of the game". I failed my first exam, then I did everything he told me to do, and I aced my other exams! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! HE IS AMAZING! Great guy!

BOEHM IS AMAZINNGGGG! he is the best math professor out there and he teaches everything in such an easy way, he makes it so easy to understand, people think he is annoying when he yells when the class does bad but it is only because he cares, he is the best!

Best. Math Professor. Ever. He is seriously amazing. He explains math perfectly and you leave loving and understanding math in a way you never had before. It breaks my heart that I won't have him again next semester. He's fantastic. Plus, he's hilarious. That's always a plus :D

Mr.Boehm is incredible. He is the best teacher I have ever had. He teaches everything. Plus he is hilarious. At first you'll think his jokes are corny but you'll soon realize they are the awesomest thing you will ever hear. If you have the opportunity to take his class, then take it. Had him for Calc I&II and he is the most awesome math prof ever! Explains really well, gets really disappointed if a student does bad & extremely happy if a student does good. Really nice and understanding guy and always pushes us to do out best and exceed our expectations of ourselves. You should definitely take him if you can!

Until Boehm Calc was a mystery to me. Great teacher, uses tons crystal clear examples in lect, sim to exam questions. Really wants u to do well. Funny, passionate about math, and all around a great teacher. I only wish all WSU's profs were half as good as him. Take him if u can. He makes Calc so easy to understand. Boehm rocks!
