I had her for English 100 and although she was absent a quarter of our class meetings she still taught well. this class did have alot of work (atleast 4 hours a week of homework) ,but it wasn't horrible.

It's an issue if you miss class even when she misses multiple.She piles on a ton of work & talks about every project at once so it gets confusing when things are due & tends to forget the due dates she makes. Very Unorganized & her own opinion is the only one that is right & all others are not accepted & are criticized. No creativity accepted.

Honestly, this woman should really not be teaching. Took this class a couple semesters ago and she misses class all the time, intimidates students & constantly changes her syllabus. Every time she was late or absent, literally the whole class would talk about how ridiculous she is. Got a A in her class but would NEVER take her again.

Nice person and helpful. Misses quite a few classes. Is not clear on assignments and changes her mind a lot. Moves assignments around because of absences. Very frustrating. She is very helpful when grading essays. She grades thoroughly, but in the process takes forever to grade them. I would not take a class taught by her again. I learned little.

overall, i would never take her again. can be nice, but can also be unfair. gives u a really hard time when leaving class..even the bathroom and especially to answer a call. always late or cancels. will delay due dates way further than needed. no sleeping, can't stand chattering. awful. if u don't mind being bored out of ur mind, take the class.

She was a pretty easy teacher. She misses class a lot, so that is good for some people. We didn't have many essays in this class, and she gave us a long time to do it. She was very helpful and will go over your entire essay with you if you need it. I recommend her to anyone who wants an easy A and an easy teacher.

Stafford was awesome. I admit she's quite the story teller but she really pushes people to think. She got on my case about being more detailed in my writing and I am thankful for that. The syllabus is an ongoing battle but she tells the assignments a week prior. Would definitely recommend her!

She is an ok teacher, not the best simply because she likes to talk about every story that comes up in the book, but after she is done talking she is done with the whole subject, so dont expect to talk alot in her class, and expect to be extremely bored. i admit i dont like english but as harsh as she grades, i just dont like it more now

She is very nice and helpful, but a little airheaded. There is a ton of work- writing and reading, but i learned alot in this class. I would recommend her, just be prepared to spend time on the homework and papers.

Prof Stafford is demanding of her students and makes you work very hard. It is worth it, though, if you want to learn, because you will. I really improved throughout the semester, and the A I earned in the course was worth the time spent.

Amazing class and experience for me. Stafford will take the time to go over your papers with you one on one if you just ask her, found her very helpfull and an excellent professor. Take this class if you aren't looking forward to English 202, because it's all about the reading, not the writing.

We read textbook. & answered questions from book in journals which we had to read outloud.Didn't teach us how to write papers.Watched movies & were expected to write papers based on these & extra outside reading of novels. I don't think there were handouts clarifying the directions for the papers- confusing.Not good prep. for University writing.

Super nice and sweet!! She will profread your papers! She will stay after class to help you if you ask. It was a very easy class. She knows what she is teaching and teaches it clearly!!!I would take her again anyday!!!
