Comment:

Dr. Stribling is a very intelligent, caring professor, and it's a big loss for the school that she's retiring so soon. The core aspect of this class is the huge research paper you write based on in-class learning and field trips you take. She grades fairly and gives good feedback. I would say she does have her favorites, but for good reason.

OMG. I can honestly say she makes physics look easy! I have never seen such a touch grader in my academic career. She would tell you to know a graph in a chapter, you could memorize/replicate the same graph in its entirety down to the increments on the scale on the test and she still manages to take off points!! Study guide USELESS !!

She is very passionate about ecology. This is not my area of interest, but she made the class interesting. Going to class is very important because she gives frequent clicker quizzes and her power point slides do not have all of the notes you need for the exams.

she's really nice and like everyone said, disorganized. her tests are not easy but she's very understanding if anything pops up. she really loves what she teaches and it really shows.

She's very passionate with her teaching so much so that you can't help but take an interest in the subject. She is easy to approach with questions or just simply conversation. She doesn't give a lot of notes in her powerpoints so reading and attending class are essential to doing well because her exams are challenging but the class is worth it.

She's very passionate and enthusiastic, but very disorganized. I don't really feel like I learned that much becuase I never got motivated, but she's a good professor. She means well, but sometimes she seems a little kooky which sometimes makes class entertaining. I would reccommend her for 210 and ecology.

I did not like her at all. she wasn't helpful at all when i went to her for help. Everything should be "common knowledge". If you don't understand, she makes you feel stupid. I would never recommend her.

Very nice lady! She knows what shes talking about and is very passionate about it, but a little disorganized. Labs are mandatory, and she will keep you the whole time, even if you personally are done. Would recommend her for lecture, not lab.
