This teacher is somewhat passive aggressive and unprofessional in my opinion. You sort of have to do some profiling to get to what she is asking for. DO NOT TRY TO CORRECT HER. I have tried to correct her politely on multiple occasions and all instances resulted immature behavior and condescending responses. She will also grade harder if you do so.

Extremely condescending, she might always be on Canvas, but is very unclear on what she wants. She makes it seem like she knows a lot, but really does NOT. She asked me if "supplementation" was a word when I used it in a poem. Changes due dates frequently in a unclear way, don't expect anything better than a B unless you convince her exhaustingly

She is incredibly condescending! If you ask her a question, she will send you useless attachments; its as if she doesn't read the messages at all. She does not know how to use CANVAS. One assigned textbook was used. I never opened the other. The course isn't particularly difficult once you figure out how to cater to her. Overall: Avoid!

I took this class online, and the people complaining about her teaching methods have to be slow in the head. Turn things in on time, and put a little bit of effort into it. If you can speak coherently and don't expect to coast through the class without turning things in, you will get a B minimum. Don't be lazy and you are fine.

Professor Seeman is always ready to help the students in whichever way possible. If you truly invest yourself in her class and put a lot of effort, she will provide you with feedback and be ready to help you. She puts a lot of effort in organizing her classes and is very approachable if there is a problem or a question.

Took online using CANVAS. She will push you to pick a topic you didn't want to write about in the first place. Is very poor at answering questions directly and refers you to her complicated schedule that really doesn't provide the information you wanted. Due dates are confusing and material is not where you expect it to be. Just avoid her.

Very confusing with what she expects and does not make the assignments or their due dates clear at all. She fills your canvas email with spam and unrelated material. If you ask for clarification, she rudely directs you to her confusing schedule/syllabus. Assignments are remedial and insulting for college level. DO NOT take this instructor!!

Very hard to follow in this class. Does not use Canvas properly, tasks/assignments and their necessary explanations are scattered on the website. Inundates you with non-course required emails. I wish I had found this site prior to registering for her course, all other comments are spot on.

Attn future ENGL 201 students: I read all the ENGL 201 reviews and they're CORRECT. If you planned on writing about what you want, think again. She is RUDE and doesn't properly use CANVAS. Treats us like children. In order to complete ONE assignment you must read everything, but not where you expect the info to be. HIGHLY CONFUSING. Again RUDE!!!

I'm currently enrolled in this class and she is very unhelpful. Her emails are confusing as most readers have written. She's forgetful and when you ask her a direct question she goes all the way around but you still don't have an answer.

Julianne may be easy to get a hold of, but her responses can be condescending & unclear. She is a tough grader as well & seems to strive pointing out flaws in your writing, without even acknowledging strengths. Julianne is also forgetful at times - she even added a full week's worth of assignments two weeks before the class was about to end! Avoid.

Julianne is the absolute worst! Her emails are confusing and vague. She spams you with email too about things that have nothing to do with the class so you don't know what you need to know. Not helpful and doesn't answer your questions. Rude and condescending and if you don't share her opinions she will mark you down.

I took her online class and when it comes to the quizes just read the text and you should be good. We had about 7 Quizes. She was not very calear on what ther requirements were on some of the writing assignmebts.
