Comment:

Best professor that I had last semester. She knows her stuff and knows how to teach. Her information was up-to-date and interesting. I got an A in the class, and learned a lot. I wish SSU had more teachers like her. Too bad that she is leaving, but she has deserved it ! Enjoy the time with grand kids and exercising. I will miss her

Comment:

I took this class as a lab requirement and it was pretty easy. Julie is one of the sweetest ladies and professor on campus. You should go to lectures and study for the tests, they are pretty specific. I never used the textbook. The lab was easy and simple and provided me with a lot of "fluff" points.

Comment:

She was a really great lecture teacher! She had a lot of info to present but made it easy to digest. While not mandatory, be sure to go to lecture, some info was only presented on and not in the slides. Quiz heavy but you can use your notes and books on them so not a problem. You don't really need your textbooks, just the workbook for the lab.

Easy class just like high school Bio. Only had 3 big exams which are worth 60 points each, has online lecture quizzes and drops one at the end of the semester. Most of the points you get are from Lab and the online quizzes.

I hardly attended the lectures but still did fine in the class. The tests are hard, but you can make up a lot of points with the online quizzes and lab points.

She was SUPER nice and helpful. You only have 3 big exams (other points come from lab class) that are pretty tough but doable. Most people never went to class except on exam days - attendance not graded. Go to class, and you'll do great on tests. Only gave one small extra credit assignment and drops one quiz.

Extremely dry class. Just like high school bio. She is really sweet and makes the 50 minute lecture really short with a break and get out early. Never went to the Friday class.

She is so cute, which makes class more enjoyable, and she explains things very well. She's willing to work with her students to make sure they understand the material and that they achieve a good grade in her class. The sweetest lady with an inspiring passion. You won't regret taking this class.

Julie is so sweet and really cares about helping you to pass her class. No hw, just online moodle quizess w/3attempts, super easy. If you study for the test, you'll be good. Must attend lab, big part of your grade but super easy. Overall easy class if you study at least 2x before the test.

There's no doubt that Julie is a sweet person. For Lab, the lab activities are easy, quizzes vary in difficulty depending on instructor, and overall lab is an easy A. Lecture, on the other hand is all over the place. Julie jumps around a lot which makes it hard to follow, and her midterms can be difficult. Julie's nice but not a great professor.

overall the class is an easy class. The tests are only hard if you don't go to lectures, but there are a lot of people who didnt't go to class and passed the class. BUT YOU NEED TO GO TO LABS. Don't just study your notes from class because there is some stuff she doesn't cover In notes thats only in the book. But she is such a sweet and nice lady.

This class is super easy. You will pass as long as you go to all the Labs and do good in them. Her tests are kind of hard if you don't study, but I know lots of people that never went to lecture and still passed. She's also just the cutest and sweetest little women ever.

Labs are so easy it's a waste of time. You just have to show up and do well on the short answer quizes each lab. You also get out early every single lab. Lectures are quick & she goes through them fast so bring a laptop. There are 3 exams, and online quizzes every couple weeks. Study hard for her tests because the questions can be confusing.

Julie is the sweetest human! This class was very reasonable and quite easy. Lab is required but almost all TA's let you out early and are very lenient on grading.

She was so cute and sweet. She has powerpoint of notes, its hard to keep up with writing but everything you'll ever need for the tests are on those notes. She also gives online quizzes every once and awhile and she keeps everything on moodle. I didn't hate this class at all.

Study for tests and go to the lab! It is pretty straight forward and the labs are long but it is worth it. Just read the chapter and review notes before the test and you will do fine. Final is not cumulative!!
