Very knowledgable! About one lab and one quiz a week. Labs tend to take about 1.5-2 hours. quizzes about an hour including doing the reading for the quiz. Tests can be a little difficult and more time consuming. Professor clearly knows his field very well. Really quick to respond to questions on labs and gives clear and useful help. I recommend him

I think Bruce is one of the better professors at Broome. Very smart guy, and he actually pushes you instead of babying you like most professors do at Broome. I can actually say I learned something in his class, which is a rarity in any of my other classes. Smart, funny, and a great teacher.

I took his historical geology class online. I realllly enjoyed this class! Some of his labs could be challenging but he was always willing to help when I went to his office hours. He is very nice and very knowledgeable. I only referred to the text book I never read full chapters, his lecture notes were always enough

Knowledgeable and explains things very well. Quizzes and tests are fairly easy. There are a few extra projects that add more work to the course, but you learn a lot. Only thing i would complain about would be the labs. They absolutely suck. Instructions are hard to follow and he takes off points for the whole answer if you missed one point.

Bruce is definitely one of the best teachers at Broome. I even took an extra science class for kicks. He is very helpful and genuinly cares about his students and their grades. He is very involved in the school. You definitely get the grade you deserve. He tries to help you be successful. Don't graduate from here without taking Bruce. Handsome man!

He is a very kind and brillant man! He spends a lot of time for his students. And he will go over things if you don't get them the first time. He really peaked my interest by bringing in fossils, and dinosaur bones to show us. I'd recommend him to anyone. :)

Professor Oldfield is one of the top 4 teachers I ever had in my life. He knows his subject inside out. He is smart, funny, and a genuinely friendly person. I really appreciate his hard work, valuable lessons and committment to his students and BCC. Thank you Prof.! TAKE HIS CLASS, you will really enjoy and be happy you had the experience.
