She was the best bio teacher ive had. So helpful with everything. I had her for the lab and lecture. Since we had lab before lecture she would let us take our test during lab once we finished the lab. She uses hand out. they are helpful and if you miss a class you dont have to worry about getting notes. I recommend taking this class.

Class lectures are easy, clearly laid out and interesting (even if your not a fan of biology). You have to be an idiot not to do well in this class! Wish I took her lab, too.

Karen is the most understanding teacher i have EVER had at LCCC or otherwise. She always explains things til everyone understands them, and gives students opportunities to earn the points that they deserve.She is intelligent, funny, and makes classes enjoyable to be in. LCCC would be smart to make her a permanent teacher in the biology dept.

Karen is a great teacher. Anything that she doesn't make clear during lecture, she tries to make clear during test time. she shows compassion and understanding for any student that wants it. she's great at her job.
