Comment:

Curtis & stagecraft are a good time. He goes out of his way to make the class relevant and interesting for theatre majors of all concentrations and puts everything in historical context. I'm happy I took this class, I just wish the crew requirement was less make or break. Kind of not fair to busy students, but at least he is up front about it.

Comment:

Amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable about not only what he is teaching, but about the school in general. He brings his personal experience into examples which helps a lot. Currently trying to get him as an advisor. Grading scale on daily quizzes can be annoying when you get 4/5 right (5=A. 1-4=B+. 0 but attempt=B-)

Curtis knows all. Pay attention and ask questions, because if you show him you're genuinely interested, he will teach you things you could never dream of learning anywhere else. Curtis is a very caring professor, and he will make sure you understand the material.

Its... a mandatory course for theatre majors. What do you expect. It's boring, but its like basically no work because he curves EVERYTHING. Still don't expect an A, unless all you do is go backstage in the theatre. It's a boring class, but pretty easy to just slide by in.
