I took the online course Psychology of Women. I found the course content and lectures to be very interesting. There is a lot of busy work but it is easy. The Prof is very knowledgeable and passionate about this topic. Exams are not easy but not to to difficult if you listen to the lectures and do the readings.

I managed to pass every test with a solid b without watching a single lecture. Mostly is busy work. Teacher is inaccessible and grad students mostly grade everything. Lots of assignments but as long as you actually finish you get a 100%. Would recommend taking any class but this-outdated and ineffective.

Very, very tough grader. I would not recommend this class or this prof. I have no idea where she gets her exam questions. I take detailed notes on her lectures and the book and still would get F's on all the exams.

I took Psyc425 over summer and I don't regret it. Really interesting class and I enjoyed the lectures. The tests are pretty easy if you show up to class everyday and read the book. 3 exams and a book report--not too bad. Just take it; if you put in the work, you'll do fine.

Tests are completely based on the book, word for word. Even taking good notes while reading, it was next to impossible to get a good grade. Gives a lot of busy work, pointless assignments worth no points. Horrible experience, would not recommend.

I took her for psych 331 online and she made the class so hard. She graded all my discussion posts very hard even though I followed all the guidelines. There's a lot of homework for the class, not hard homework but there's a lot of it. Also she gives you 1 hour for the tests with 50 questions all of which are in her boring lectures, not online.

This prof is very communicative but you have to constantly check the calendar to make sure you don't miss discussion posts. We read from one book in chunks of 3 chapters which were very doable. If you complete your work you'll do fine in this class. Its very lecture heavy but they are pretty interesting. BE PREPARED FOR A FEMINIST CLASS.

I LOVE her! I am taking her for every class I can. Abnormal Psyc is a lot of info but she explains well and I love that she uses her real life experiences in her lectures. All exams are online and she offers a replacement exam instead of a final and she does extra credit, 10 points max. I did notice you must read the chapters you to do good on test

Two thirds of your grade is dependent on four tests. Each test covers upwards of 200 pages worth of material. The questions are often on obscure information found deep within the extremely dry textbook. The amount of busy work involved in this class is large, tedious, and equivalent to a 400 level course. The material is also somewhat one sided.

I am sure she is a great teacher in person, but online she lacked. I watched and took notes on chapters and all her lectures and it didn't matter cause she takes questions word for word from the book. also, she only gives you 60 minutes for 45-50 questions that you have to look up since it is word for word. also LOTS of busy work. DID NOT ENJOY.

This professor was fair with her grading, and the only thing I didn't like about this professor was her lack of communication with me. There would be once or twice during the quarter where I would email her about an assignment or ask her if there was anything I could to improve myself, and she just never emailed me back.

I definitely would advise NOT TAKING her psyc 331 course (psyc of women). Absolutely brutal. Outdated material, extremely dry book, and not to mention the amount of busy work is incredible. Taking this class will feel reminiscent of a 400 level course. Not to mention her TA grades most assignments, and does an awful job doing so. Just don't.

Go to lecture and take good notes and you're golden. I barely used the textbook and got an easy 4.0. Great lecturer if the class isn't going off on tangents. Would take again!

I was very disappointed in the online psychology of women class. The material was outdated (mostly videos from the 80's), professor offered no feedback, and there were too many papers written from a book I didn't read. I managed to get a 4.0, but that is not the point. The whole class was BS and I can't respect a professor who puts in zero effort.

Super tough course. Very interesting subject matter. Only 3 tests but crams SOOO much information on to each test. 20+ case laws to remember plus all info from lectures. Very daunting and stressful. 1 paper to write. Tests are mc, short answer and essay. Be prepared to study hard. I'm a 4.0 student and received a 3.2 in this class WITH extra cred
