Gave really horrible help on papers and syllabus changed constantly. I can't even remember what he talked about in class half of the time since it had nothing to do with the course description. Would not recommend a class with this professor.

Campbell is fairly easy but by far the most boring professor I've ever had. His class is poorly organized and atrociously executed and he seems to prize the ability to memorize trivia over intelligence or analytic ability. Anyone looking for an easy class, this one isn't worth the excruciating boredom.

I really don't understand what's with all the ragging on Campbell! He is a really, really nice guy, especially as a FSEM. We had four major papers, some b.s. reading to do in-between, and then the class was over, no final or anything. Even though I didn't select his class, I'm glad I got it because it was really quite a relaxing time.

I loathed going to Campell's class. It was boring and confusing. He tried to be "hip" and relate to us but it just made class awkwardly painful. Going into the final, we knew our grade for 15% of the course material and the night before he sent out an email saying he had added a new section. A total disorganized mess of a class.

HORRIBLE PROFESSOR. Doesn't understand what the course is about and spends all of his time manipulating the material so that he can talk about rhetoric. BORING, and we spent the entire semester clueless as to how we were doing because he has not real curriculum and is horrible with returning work. the worst professor i've ever had.

Really fun course if you do your readings. Classes are mostly discussions and very few notes. His tests aren't bad so long as you take notes diligently because he gives so few. Campbell is the man in this course, he's down to earth and very knowledgeable

I think some people are too hard on Campbell- he may not be the most thrilling prof but he's not that bad. he doesn't assign alot of work. he grades hard though. go in for extra help because he is willing to help you. My writing has improved 100% since his class

Talks extremely slow. Grades papers very hard and under much scrutiny. He isn't very familar with the material for he is still new. NOt the best choice to make when it comes to FSEM's. WATCH OUT!!!
