Comment:
Prof Sagarin is a very nice person and extremely smart, but she fails to close the gap between a PhD level expert and students in her class. The material is already hard, except in her class, it is given at breakneck speed with little technical explanation. These classes need to be reworked and presented slower for an effective learning experience.

One of my favorite professors. Treats you with respect and expects a lot from students (which can make you feel dumb at times). Class is hard but you really learn the material. Be prepared to ask a lot of questions outside of class.

Chem majors, you'll see a lot of her. Her organization and accesability are so releaving and make the large work load seem easier. You will learn tons, but don't be lazy, do your work. Never miss a class... Finally, you will live in the chem lounge with the other students doing her HW. Don't be afraid to ask for help!

It's an online class, so we had little direct contact with Sagarin, but she was helpful in labs and review sessions. Obviously knows the material extremely well. Gives out exam reviews that virtually give away the test questions.

One word for the class: Brutal! But hey, that's Pchem. The only reason why I survived this class is because of Sagarin. She is by far the smartest prof of the chemistry department, comes in for help sessions on Sunday evenings and treats students like adults.
