He grades the class on a mastery system, which is a little weird and different, but not bad. He teaches mostly by giving worksheets with examples, but is willing to give extra help if you ask for it. I wouldn't take his class if you don't have a good math background, because it is mostly a learn on your own environment and he expects a lot.

People on this site are to hard on him. I thought he was a good professor, not the best but certainly not the worst. He expects his students to come to class and work. He does lecture despite what people here have said and I did learn a lot from his class. As long as you pay attention and do your homework this class is not that bad.

Your expected to do so much homework everyday. He basically thinks this is the only class your taking and expects so much out of you. Its hard to keep up with him try to avoid him at all costs.

There is a lot of homework and you must do it because the homework responses are used on the quizzes but most of the hw is in the back of the textbook. The class is not hard at all and he gives examples for every chapter . Go to class and pay attention and you shouldnt have a problem

Lots of homework, daily readings, very hard class to keep up with if you are taking other classes that require time. expect a hostile class environment he sometimes gets angry at students for little things like leaving or not taking notes. daily quizzes that are a challenge (trick questions). i recommend avoiding this prof, you have better options.

Worst math "teacher". You cant even really call him a teacher because he does not Teach! You have to teach yourself. He is not understanding at all! Pick a different teacher. I wish somebody would have warned me

The lab assistant mainly helps you, by the end of the course more than half the class dropped out or was in the parallel course. He doesn't check your work to give you partial credit on tests or quizzes.

I wouldn't trust this "professor" with a kindergarten class. He lectured maybe twice throughout the whole semester. While other teachers in the department will review your work and consider partial credit so you can pass. This teacher will not even take a look at your work until you beg. for the sake of your grade. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR.

Did not like this teacher at all. He rushed through every section in about 3 or 4 examples. He does not go through many problems in the book. The only good thing about this class is that the majority of quizzes are take home, and he gives a take home portion on each exam except for the final.

I had to withdraw from my class because he would not unlock the system for me.I got a c on the first test and according to the computer i need a B. Even though I didn't fail the test he made me withdraw from the class. I saw more from his teaching assistant that I ever did from him. I do not recommend him at all or even this corse.

I definitely like most didn't do well in the class. I don't care for him as a teacher, I feel like he should have chose another profession. He isn't much help and I feel like he doesn't care if you fail the class. May God be with you if you decide to take him!!!!!

Heres how college algebra works. Several assignments make up a quiz, several quizzes make up a test. Have to get an 80% on all the HW to take the quiz, and 80% on all the quizzes to take a test. One test = One module. Before you open the next module you have to get 80% on the previous test. Lemmert is no help, and its all online. Goodluck

Professor Lemmert is a wonderful professor. I learned so much in his class. He is kind and caring.
