He is an extremely helpful professor. Gives some work not too much. He is based on test and they are usually exactly what he says there going to be. Is really funny, very intelligent and knowledgeable. Go in the class with an open mind. And side note he is not good with names, he will give you a new name if he cannot pronounce your name.

Funny guy who makes a would be boring class somewhat enjoyable. Very helpful but not easy - lots of material to learn and regurgitate on the midterm and final (fill in answers not multiple choice. The term paper is tricky because you have to write it with 3 other students. He gives you detailed review of the exams beforehand which is very helpful.

Standford is great! He is able to keep the students attention all the while teaching at the same time. Tests are on the difficult side, but as long as you show up and crack a book, you should do fine! Nobody fails Standford's classes unless THEY don't care about school. He does all he can to help you understand the material.

The class itself is a great experience. Learning from a professor and not a book with an interpreter, is a GREAT change of pace. Tests are hard and make you think, but aren't discouragingly hard. Just wondering what he was gonna say today and who he was gonna bust on was almost motivation enough on its own for me to go to class.
