Dr. Covick puts not effort forward to make this an interesting class. His mandatory videos were drawn out, SLOW, and boring. His tests assume you are going to be a Meteorology Scientist. This is NOT an introductory course.

He is very monotone, but he knows everything that he teaches like the back of his hand. Read the chapters for the tests carefully, do all of the homework, and go over his notes. He takes test material from all of them.

I love Dr. Covick. He is very funny and one of the coolest professors at Athens State. He knows a lot about chemistry and is very passionate about the subject. He's honestly the best and his lab exercises are very well-organized and well-structured. He sets clear goals for the course and sticks to him. I hope the Pope ordains him as a saint.

Has a monotone voice and hard to follow in lecture. Tests were mulitiple choice with material hardly covered beforehand. Labs were discussed in class and then assigned as "take home" work.

Lectures consisted of him reading textbook powerpoint files--very boring. No guidance with the text book. Test from test bank with not study guide. Took online, I wouldn't recommend.

Wasn't an excellent professor. Not horrible though. He put stuff on the test that he didn't cover well enough though. I expected a little more out of the class, especially the lab. We did basically nothing really relevant in lab, just answered the questions in the book (and the book is crappy and doesn't go with the text).
