By far my favorite professor at UCF but her classes are not easy A's. She is strict in terms of grading but she is also the most friendly and helpful teacher I have ever taken. If you take the time to meet her personally and invest the time to prove that you are truly interested in learning the material she will do everything she can ensure success

Comment:

Makes you do more work than any other cornerstone lab. Forces you to up your monetary goal and also create a "wow factor" gift for the nonprofit. Always puts on a smile and sounds nice, but it's really just a facade. Criticisms are harsher than necessary. Don't recommend.

Straight forward. Clear in her instructions. It's cornerstone so it's going to be a lot of work but nothing too crazy. Take her.

Comment:

The lab for cornerstone was the most work with the least reward. Graded all assignments strictly for spelling and grammar. Despite being one of the best teams of the semester ended up with an 89.4, 3 points shy of an A-. Other professor did not require work that our professor had us do as well. Take her if you want a B. Go elsewhere for an A.

Comment:

Lectures were very captivating, great speaker and really holds your interest. Almost never keeps you a full class period. Tests are tricky so use the power point slides and expand on them with the book to study. Make sure you check papers for spelling and grammar! Overall I enjoyed this class!

Comment:

She taught 9 classes of cornerstone lab which caused her to never be available for help. She grades so harsh that NO ONE out of all 9 classes, roughly 270 students, got an A. No one in my class even got an A-. Don't take her, she puts on a nice persona but it's all a facade. Avoid at all costs, she shouldn't be allowed to teach.

Basically graded paper for spelling and grammar mistakes only. Only things marked off on the papers were because of grammar and they were little problems. It's not an english class, paper should be graded more for content but it wasn't.

Mrs. Mignese was a joy to have as a teacher, she made intro to leadership a lot of fun! She definitely knows what she's doing and gives you all of the service projects so you don't have to find your own to fulfill the service requirements. DEFINITELY TAKE HER!!!!

Awesome professor, tests can be difficult and really seeks to insure you learned the concepts. Took it during the summer and was expectantly overwhelming, grades papers justly, also the grades are given pretty quick so it was a plus considering short time in summer class, very helpful, highly recommended

Great professor, awesome enthusiasms for class materials, will learn a lot of interesting stuff at least i think so. Care for the students and their learning, took the class during summer a lot of group work with different parts, you sure will be working for the grade though. Very helpful she's got umbrellas so stop by if you need one!!!

She can be perceived as intimidating but she is really a nice lady. VERY intelligent and passionate. I learned SO much in this class. Work load is intense but her teaching style makes it easier to learn and retain information. She is an AMAZING teacher, although a bit strict & tough. You will learn a lot from her. Wish I could have taken her more!

Great professor as far as her teaching style goes, however she is a very picky grader and does play favorites with the groups. The group assignments are worth a substantial amount of your grade, so hopefully you get in a good group and the professor likes you, then you're good to go.

Very energetic, funny, and willing to help you. Tries extremely hard to make the class interesting and it is. Papers aren't awful, start early. Very few A's in the class. Tests are based mostly on small facts from the class lecture so take good notes. Tests are hard, but take the class for value.

easily best teacher at ucf. hilarious!!! i laugh the entire time. sooo informative! i absolutely loved her! she scares you at first but that's only to make sure the people don't wanna be there drop the class, after the first 2 weeks you get snacks and laughs!

Best LEAD professor I've had so far! So sweet and genuinely interested in students' lives. Easy class... as long as you show your enthusiasm you should do well!
