Comment:

Dr. Carroll is a great professor and always challenges you to think past the literal meaning of things. I had him for a FYS Social and Civic Responsibility class. Unfortunately, the classmates I had were horrible. No one in the class wanted to learn and everyone took advantage of him. While he is a good professor, the overall class wasn't helpful.

With Dr. Carroll being my professor for Social and Civic Responsibility and as my advisor, I honestly think he is very helpful and detailed about answering your questions related to careers. He explains everything in great detail when you ask for clarity on an assignment and he is very open minded and he is dedicated to students success!

Dr. Carroll is one of the greatest professors I've ever encountered. He is really helpful, always happy to talk to you and gives great advice. Pay close attention to him, you can learn a lot more than simply classroom content

He is amazing. This is definitely the best course I have ever taken, and a lot of it has to do with him. He is easy to talk to and very helpful. I took more information away from his class, and him than I have from any other college course. One of the best!

great personality and a very good teacher to have. Can be a little confusing to understand but he will quickly clarify something if you ask. One of the best courses I have ever taken and I highly recommend it for the experience.

To often in class I felt he was focused on informing us how excellent of a business advisor he's been for other companies, and less focused on the exact material he was testing you on. I understand it's imperative to be current on reading the chapters on your own, however I was never confidant on what material would be on the test or how that test was graded.
