Can be a bit monotone and you will begin to drown him out very quickly. Comes off as a pompous ass at first but is actually a pretty nice and funny guy. 65% of the class was graded in the last week. I somehow managed to pull off a B. I would still avoid him in the future as he is very disorganized and not good with computers/email.

65% of class was graded in the last week, was very boring to listen to, and was overall a terrible teacher and pointless class

Pretentious to say the least, but you can't help but enjoy his sense of humor. He seems extremely disorganized and technologically challenged, but somehow I learned a lot about the Reformation(s). Some days his class is very interesting and informative, others are boring and arbitrary. I think for this reason I may avoid him in the future.

One of the only teachers IĆ¢€™ve had interested in listening to his students opinions. He comes of as a pompass windbag at first but you shortly learn that it is a part of his gracious humor. The man is a genius and this can sometimes fool himself into assuming that the average joe knows a lot more about the topic at hand, but he will slow down if you

My most favorite teacher ever. But only because he is random. You never know whats going on, and I dont think he does either. 8 books? Sure, why not...he thinks we have nothing better to do. He knows his stuff (maybe a genius, and you will see that when he shows ya'll how to google him), but cant teach a class clearly.

Lawrence Bryant is arrogrant, forgetful, and obnoxious. He thinks nothing of wasting your time with irrevelant assignments. His belief - "The book is the curtain; I am center stage." Avoid this instructor and his intellectualism.

Good guy, who comes off as being a little stuffy, but worth taking. Good command of the subject matter and really loves what he does. A little to political like most professors, but all in all he is a quality professor. Wish I could have taken more of his classes. The sweaty arm pits are great. His cleaning bill must be out of control. Try him out, its worth it. Do the reading and go to class and you will do fine.

Be ready to read and write essays. Six essays made up a large percentage of grade. A group presentation is likely. Does a lot of talking and is a bit vague at times. Does know his subject well and may wander off topic at times.

HE was hard, and the reading was long d often boring... however, I truely enjoyed the class and feel that I left with a better understanding of the topic. If you want to learn your history, take his class. If you want to skate by- not for you.

Interesting one minute, then drop dead boring the next. A really nice guy that really likes his subject matter, but you should be a serious history person to take his class. Tests are pretty easy, and you can do lite reading and easily do the papers.

Just a bad teacher all arround. Arrogant, unfriendly, does not teach the subject, just talks and talks and talks. Poorly structured class, irrelivant reading, et cetera, et cetera. Take something else with someone else. DO NOT DO THIS TO YOURSELF!!!!!!!

Easy class and easy tests- but boring teacher. Never stays on topic in lecture and has really sweaty armpits- it gets distracting. Watch out for the portfolio assignments- worth more than he lets on.
