What an amazing professor. He definitely knows what he is talking about and he conveys his class very well. Office hours is a great way to get to know him and he gives great feedback on papers and assignments. He really wants you to pass as long as you put the effort. Cannot stress this enough of how great of a professor he is. He will be missed.

He was an absolute gentlemen when it came to speaking softly and swooning students of their feet. I don't know how I got to be so lucky to be in his class. He was funny (witty), gorgeous, smart, and down right dreamy. Why did UCSC let him go? STANFORD, your students sure get the best don't they?

Quill is an AMAZING teacher that does not go from the book - he asks his students what they want out of the class and teachers so that everyone is comfortable and interested in learning the material. The English accent is awesome too - It is a sad day when Quill is no longer teaching at UCSC.

He is so funny. His accent makes him so irresistable but sometimes he could be very moody. He likes personality so give it to him and OH GOSh, he's so damn dreamy. His voice is silky and always spoken softly. I'm in love. UCSC is STUPID to let him go..

This man was hands down the best teacher I have ever had. The UC system is ****ed up for not begging him to be a permanent part of the school. The intelect of the school has decreased since he has left. I wish I could have taken every class he taught.

So my housemate took this class and invited me to one of his lectures. Brilliant, witty, hilarious. Made obtuse political theory very clear. I'm not even in the class and I took notes. I go to his office hours just to chat. Best prof I've ever met.
