GREAT professor! Has a lot of requirements, but it's for your own good! very sweet person and was genuinely interested in what you wanted to write about. Had her for a 12 week course and she gave a lot of time to ask questions and work on your paper. Concise and to the point with her "lectures". Clear grading too!

Comment:

She was a great teacher! The class itself can be difficult if you're not very good at writing papers. She was always there to help you though if you were struggling. She also respected her students a lot. I wish she was still teaching next year, because I would take her again if I could!

Comment:

Prof. Cady is a super nice lady who is always willing to help anyone. She also let us out almost an hour early everyday. Your grade consists of 6 different types of papers that are 1-3 pages, 2 tests, and attendance. She gives you outlines of exactly what she wants for your papers and allows you to rewrite the first 2. Easy A and super nice!

There aren't any tests in her 1102 English class, but she does expect a lot of unnecessary work. When writing your essay, you need to write down your sources and what they contain on notecards (50 to be exact) and you have to print out your sources. More time-consuming than needed. She is nice and pateint when answering student questions.

Register early and go with someone else... She yaps quite a lot so be sure to register for a class that is no more than 75 minutes. She assigns a LOT of busywork, and she checks every source you use for the two papers (exploratory and research) so you can't just paraphrase your way to an "A". Overall, I'd go with her as a last resort...

Fantastic teacher who loves teaching, loves the subject, and makes herself extremely available to students. If you are lost or need extra guidance on a paper, she is more than happy to help. I highly recommend taking any class of hers.

I took Cady for Engl 1101 & 02. If I take another English class I hope to get her. 1102 consists of 2 major papers. The 1st is an exploratory paper which eventually becomes a part of your 2nd paper. The textbook isn't mandatory, but its a handy tool (I recommend to buy it for future use). Chances are her classes will be held in the Naperville area.

I loved her. Very sweet and tells you exactly what to do. It is a little tedious but if you follow the guidelines it's easy to get an A. She is always available to help. Enjoyed this class!

Mrs. Cady is a great teacher!! Her topics for the essays are pretty simple and she doesn't grade too hard. She even offers Re-Writes, and you can often turn a C into an A. She's one of the few English teachers to actually have TESTS, but they're not hard. She gives up to 3 unexcused absences. Don't get stuck in a night class, it can be tedious.

Professor Cady is one of the nicest professors I've ever had. She is so accomidating and really is cool about attendance if you e-mail her a legit reason. She's so sweet, and class is semi-boring, but she doesn't care if no one is listening to her. She's cute and funny and a great lady. I'd take her again.

GREAT TEACHER! 6 essays, but all are easy. Tests are easy As & 1 is even open book. Final exam is optional. Sometimes lets you out early. Sometimes can be boring and learn stuff you learned in grammar school.
