I'm sitting in class right now and listening Swindell tell me about kids putting their pants on...where else are you gonna hear about that at AU?? Highly recommend...funny, humble, honest, helpful, and shmexy. specifically chose her for my 2nd psych class after taking gen psych with her last year.

Swindell is super sweet and very friendly. Her classes are interesting, and she keeps my attention. Her tests are mega hard but taking advatage of study groups in the Learning Center helps and you get extra credit if you go.

Dr. Swindell is by far the best professor I have ever had. She has continued to support me in my post-graduate career, and I will be grateful to her forever for all the help and guidance she has given me. She's an all-around terrific lady!

Though her tests were mad hard, she offers tons of extra credit opportunities. She is extremely hilarious once you get past the boring beginning parts of the class. I never skipped do the randomness of her lectures; they were all awesome!

Wonderful teacher. Gen psych was difficult but if you pay attention you'll do just fine. She's extremely willing to spend extra time out side of class to help you. She's by far one of the best professors on campus.

I love our in class discussions and she keeps the class very interesting. My only complaint would be she LOVES to assign hw to my class where most of the other LART classes that are taught by other profs don't get much if any. That being said, she is a very nice, intelligent person.

I've always hated these types of classes (LART, Pysch), but she's really a great teacher, so it doesn't make them seem so bad. I never have problems paying attention in class and even though sometimes she moves a little fast, she keeps a fairly good pace.
