Dr. Zucca was the professor of my AFIG FYE course and she was an absolute blessing. I thought before going to Kent that my First Year Experience course would be stupid and unhelpful. But Dr. Zucca really helped me and all of my classmates out. Just do the assignments shes asks and you'll get an easy A. But really actually listen to her in lectures

Comment:

I had Dr. Zucca for my AFIG FYE course and she was amazing. Before I got to Kent for my first semester I was dreading my first year experience course because I thought it was stupid and useless. But Dr. Zucca gave me a lot of useful information and gave me assignments that helped me in my transition to Kent. I really she wasn't retiring.

Comment:

Dr. Zucca is one of the nicest professors I think I've ever had. Her Corporate Accounting class is difficult, but if you go to class, listen, and do your homework nightly you will be just fine. She is always very specific as to what will be on the quizzes and exams, and she is always willing to help. The semester-long project is a lot, though.

There were assignments that were easy. The assignments range from being weekly to every other week. The discussions were simple didn't require much participation. Make sure you look at the syllabus because she may not remind you of every assignment due the next week. Some of the assignments require more in depth work than the others.

I can always respect a professor who knows her subject. Dr. Zucca knows the answer to any question you throw at her, and it shows. Her lectures are really dry, but hey, its Accounting! They're always dry. She used the book she wrote, and it was very clear and helped a lot. It was straight to the point, and very clear. Would take again!

If you're taking Fin Accounting with Zucca it's probably the Honors section which means it will obviously be a lot of hard work. Biggest tips? Use MyLabsPlus as your biggest study tool. Exams are challenging - no multiple choice no true false so know what you're doing. Overall, a good professor who cares about student success. Recommend taking her.

This woman is a Saint. She is a wonderful human being who reminds me of my grandmother. I feel like she would make me brownies and give me soup if I was sick. I just want to sit in my dorm and watch Price is Right with her. She has been the best professor I have had at Kent. Oh and she plays Euchre. Major plus.

This class is hard, however you will learn as much as you are willing to learn. Zucca is fair and will help you as much as you want her to. If you really want to understand accounting take her class. And, yes this is a weed out class!!

Comment:

Corp 2 is one of the hardest classes as an accounting major. Its not easy by any means. However, Zucca offers plenty of hmk and quiz points to buffer bad grades on exams. Textbook isn't much help, but Zucca gives clear explanations. Exams are hard. Class overall demands a lot of effort.

Class was very hard, but what accounting class isn’t? Good explanations and available for office consultations. Really does a good job stressing the importance of "Meet the accountant’s night" which can really help a student’s career.
