Armstrong is such a nice and intelligent teacher. He is very informed and promotes discussion in class. He is always interested in helping students learn and grow. TAKE THIS CLASS.

I LOVE Dr. Armstrong! He is a great professor with so much dedication to his students! He cracks a lot of jokes and genuinely wants his students to succeed. I will definitely take his class again.

He's a good teacher. Once you take the first test you see what he expects, but it still difficult to know what to study. All his classes are pretty much the same, but they're not hard. I would recommend his class.

Dr. Armstrong is a good teacher, although his classes are pretty boring. The class was easy, but a LOT of reading. I would recomend taking him.

Comment:

In theory his classes are not that hard. The material is interesting and he teaches it well, however his tests are somewhat random and no one ever knows what to expect on his tests. What you would think would be the most obvious test material, usually isn't. So take his class, but know that his tests aren't straightforward.

very intelligent, makes class interesting and encourages participation. tests have a couple tricky questions (know terms & key people from book) and essays are involved but not impossible (study key points of packet readings and be able to apply). great class, provides a good background for anyone interested in communications!

hands down, one of the best teachers i've had at furman. he is fun, fair, and known for making random comments. do the readings (which are NEVER too much for one day) by the time of the test, you'll do fine. i've gotten an A in his class, so it is possible. oh yeah, he likes to assign 'study days' (cancels class)

anal retentive much? he knows his stuff and I learned a lot,good lecturer, but tests were hard and not a good indication of what was learned. cant make an A, atleast not in winter term!
