Comment:

She’s one of the sweetest professors you’ll ever have, but she's a little scattered sometimes and the material can be hard to grasp. You’ll like the class, but don’t expect to follow the syllabus exactly. The papers are long and difficult, but not too bad. Grading in slow. I still wouldn’t hesitate to take her again.

Dr. Gim is a great professor. She knows her stuff and is very concerned with class involvement & genuinely cares about literature & her students. She knows how to teach instead of reciting the facts- asking larger contextual questions that are interesting and topical. Take any class she offers and you won't be disappointed.

Easily one of my favorite professors at the college. She IS a little unorganized but I think its endearing. She genuinely cares about her students and teaching them. She'll help you out the best she can with her 100% effort if you ask. She's amazing. Very very brilliant.

Shakespeare's Drama. Nice lady, little spacey. Shows up 10min late everyday. Very scattered when she comes in. Random thoughts and conversations all the time, rarely about Shakespeare. Never gives papers back, you have to ask again and again. doesnt care if you show up or not. Nice lady though. Once you have her you can handle her again.

You'll read a lot, but she's amazingly nice and really wants you to do well. All she really wants is for you to read what's assigned and then offer a stray comment on it here or there in class, and then you're solid. If you don't read then she'll assign quizzes. So read! And you avoid the quizzes. Oh, and you get pizza at semester's end. Not bad.

DR. GIM IS AN EXCELLENT TEACHER. IS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE IN HER SUBJECT AREA, ONE OF THE MOST INTELLIGENT PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET! SHE ALWAYS TAKES TIME OUT OF HER LIFE FOR STUDENTS....EVEN ON THE WEEKENDS! I HIGHLY RECOMEND HER CLASSES!

LOVE HER!!! Lisa is one of the best teachers at FSC! She's tough, you can't just coast, so BE PREPARED TO WORK! It's entirely worth it because she is so interesting and dedicated to her subject matter. She has helped me get into professional conferences. LISA GIM = AWESOME!!!!

Prof Gim is very knowledgeable about the topics of Shakespeare. Class goes by quickly, lots of discussion and sharing of ideas. She does talk very fast, but I grew accustomed to it after a few classes. She is very approachable and accommodating.

I loved having Gim for a teacher! She also helped me get into the Shakespeare Conference last year with the paper I wrote for her class on Puck! If you have any accomodations that need to be made in class she will work with you! The reading is a lot but if you buddy up you can help eachother out or just grab one of your Shakespeare nutty friends and they will give you the spin on the plays and that will help load. My interest level is 4 cause I don't like reading Shakespeare much. Gim Rocks!
