Her class is fairly easy but don't fall behind because you won't ever find out where you stand. She didn't install grades until finals week so you won't know your progress throughout the class to fix your grade. Stay on top of assignments and complete all journals. Easy A

Took her class fall 16. she cancelled for a week straight. i honestly didn't learn anything from this class. easy A if you ask me. don't buy the two books a waste of money we opened the book maybe 10 times in the semester find another way to get it. overall i would take her just show up do ALL THE HOMEWORK and act like you care.

Awful professor. Very boring, ditzy, and all over the place. Barely went over the material. Assigns way too much work (I had her one night a week and she assigned 5+ assignments per week). All around a terrible experience, terrible professor, please do not take her.

Really boring, doesn't know how to control the class, doesn't explain what she wants very well. Spring '16 cancelled class 4 times in a row. very quiet, a pushover basically her homework is to read a chapter and write your opinion on it. two-part midterm one is take home.

I didn't like having Professor Ramos for Media and Society. She barely ever covered material for our midterm and final. Other grades came from journal assignments and group projects, which were easy. I don't feel like I learned anything from the class and it was mostly discussion and opinions. She's nice but has trouble structuring her course.

Online class so everything is reading and writing. Know how to use blackboard! Very detail oriented syllabus, everything is very clear. Takes a while to grade but very informative & gives great feedback. NEED BOOK TO PASS. Everything is in the book. READ EVERYTHING and email her with questions. Very helpful but need to email her & take initiative.

Some of her discussions are confusing but she tries to clarify & is very understanding. Weekly papers are easy A's. First test was HARD bc we did not know the material. READ EVERY CHAPTER AND MEMORIZE EVERYTHING. The tests are on that & she hardly talks about the chapters. 2 group projects-easy. Make sure you follow syllabus to a T. Extra credit

Prof Ramos is a very wonderful teacher and person. I had her for 2;30 every week. The class was very active during discussions which helped enhance the class. She encourages class socialization and also brings relevant topics in to discuss. She is very easy to work with, and generally a class worth taking. I would recommend to anyone

I had Prof. Ramos twice. She's very scatterbrained, and as a result her classes are disjointed and disorganized. We didn't learn much. She's not the worst professor ever and she grades fairly, but I more than likely wouldn't take a class with her again.

Prof. Ramos is a very nice person. However, she is unorganized. We had to revised the syllabus every class. And there were many times I didn't know what was due. Her exams are okay. Only probably is she said it would be multiply choice and their were some short answers on the test. i would take her again, but with caution.

people who had her are to blame. Teacher knows subject and class isn't hard. She's relaxed & can g et scattered , doesn't mean she deserves all 1's . I got an A, and the most "1"deserving part of class wasn't her. it was other students who didnt try, cut class, and probably wondered why they got bad grades. Losers. ;-P

She's a really nice lady. I think people take her kindness for weakness though. She comes off a little ditzy, but she knows her stuff. If you hold up to your end of the bargain (show up, do the work) you'll get the grade you want.

Had her for Capstone in the summer...she was the most helpful professor i've ever had. There were only a handful of students in the class, so she helped everyone individually every class we had. Pretty much if you write the paper in the correct format and show up to class, you will get an A.

This lady is so sweet. If nothing else, she's a sweetheart. She's one of those people that is always willing to help. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body! If nothing else, take her for being nice and being a fair grader.
