ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY. But you should really go anyway bc she is an amazing teacher. If you pay attn, you'll understand everything. She is a genuinely caring person, and wants everyone to succeed and be on the same page. Her tests are very reasonable and are exactly what you learned in class. HW is reasonable and good practice

SUCH an intelligent and caring woman. The homework is tough, but makes you think. Exams are reasonable and relevant to what she actually taught, no surprises to trip you up (which is rare among professors). She knows how to teach the subject and gives you plenty of practice, which is necessary for phonology. Take her if you're lucky enough to!

Basically, you can't be a slacker with Dr. Repetti; it's impossible!! You must do the work to digest the material bc she expects you to understand it!! She's an amazing and highly-intelligent woman. Take her if you actually want to gain understanding and knowledge abt whatever the topic!

Prof. Repetti is pretty and cares very much about how her students do in class. She can be a little strict about homework assignments, but I guess that's probably one of her good qualities as a teacher. She's very patient with her students and is willing to give more than enough time that is needed for completing a test. I would take her again.

I didn't really care much about the class beforehand but after a few lectures I found it to be interesting. Reading the textbook probably would help a lot, although when she gave us the midterms they were pretty short. If you do the homeworks, study before the midterms, and do some of the readings, you'll get at least a B+.

Repetti is a great teacher! She makes everything so clear. Someone who has never had any experience with linguistics should take her because she takes time to explain and let everyone understand before she moves on. Take this class with her!! She is the best professor I have had so far!

She pushes her students to exceed their own expectations and she is knowledgable as to the Italian culture. She speaks mostly in fluent Italian and gives difficult poems to read and gives quizzes on them. However she is very helpful and flexible when it comes to understanding the material. She gives hints on becoming more profficient in Italian.

I really liked the class. I learned so much in just a few short months. She does speak mostly Italian in the class but she always explained things in a way I understood. She gives a decent amount of homework but you will learn a lot.

She's a very sweet person, but she's a horrible teacher. The work was given inconsistently, and it was difficult to understand her. We relied on the TA to break things down, so we'd understand them when time came for the tests.

Ugh, what a horrible experience. She definitely knows her stuff, but she couldn't teach it to save her life. The course material was WAY advanced, and there were many instances when we had to infer or guess to get the answer. The book was terrible and contained so much information that it was hard to distinguish what we needed to know. Ouch.
