In the begging of the course, I thought it was going to be a difficult class. While I had struggled with other philosophy classes. Lou had made this class not only bearable but something I looked forward to. I would recommend him and this class to anyone

Mr. C was an amazing teacher! As mentioned before, disregard the negative comments about him and his teaching skills! He is interesting and enthusiastic. He is very intelligent and he knows the material without even looking at it in the text book! I enjoyed this class thoroughly and would take more of his classes if I ever get the chance.

Professor Casciato is an amazing teacher, he gives study guides which help. He is adorable, he is so clear with his teaching and a pleasure. I am forever blessed to have had him as a teacher. Take him any chance you can! He has perfect handwriting! You can tell he was raised well and attended catholic school.

I LOVED THIS TEACHER!!! He was funny, compassionate, helpful, kind, and very cool. He gives little to no homework and give outlines for all quizes and tests. Its amazing. he isvery knowledgeable. He loves students who participate. He treats everyone equally.

Awesome teacher! Easiest A I've ever gotten. You never get homework or really have to do anything. He gives you the outline for the tests and ALL the answers. I'd take this class any day of the week. He's a little strange but for an A I can handle that!

Discard anything negative you hear about this teacher. He literaally gives you the answers to the quizzes, he letures but if you are a people watcher, like me it can be interesting. The notes are a must. and anything you hear in class is EXACTLY what you will find online and in the text book. HE DOESNT USE THE TEXT BOOK AT ALL! Very kind person.

From the first day, you'll realize that Professor Casciato is a nice man and does care about his students,but honestly his explanation skills are poor,he deducts an extremely unfair amount of points, and is the most uninsighful person ever. Its almost the end of the semester and I still feel like I didnt learn anything.

Very nice man, really enthusiastic teacher. He gives study guides and does reviews that tell you exactly what's going to be on the tests. Just make sure to get the notes. There were two writing assignments, but they weren't very long and no research was required. No reason anyone should get a bad grade.

Mandatory attendance. He only tests you on the board notes & handouts, so don't buy the book. Just attempt to participate, and study the review sheets for the midterm/final, and you'll do fine. He is knowledgeable and was really nice and funny and wanted the best for us. Professor Casciato is good, but the class is factually-based and boring.

Professor Casciato is one of the best teachers I have taken. He has a great personality and LOVES to laugh in class. If you have to take philosophy take him. GO to every class, take good notes and you will be fine.
