You will leave this class the same way you entered, not knowing anything more than what you already know. She isn't clear with assignments. She is so boring and just talks and talks! If you ask questions her reply has nothing to do with your question. GOOD LUCK because she is the ONLY professor who teaches this class. You must work HARD for an A

I feel awful reading these reviews. Dr. Hall is not bad at all and the fear of taking her needs to be tossed out the window. Though sometimes you may be confused, its not from her its from your fellow paranoid classmates who bad mouth her. This is college people, if you cant do projects then your not fit to teach. Easy A just dont do a half ass job

If you are interested in talking about her jewelery choices for the day or how her neighborhood is or what her apartment looks like, then by all means take any of her classes. She is not clear in what she wants, she does not teach ANYTHING, and she clearly states that she doesn't even want to teach this course. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love NJCU and the most of the professors are excellent. I don't know why they have her as the chairperson of the department. She is the reason i don't believe in having teachers/professors tenure. Once they have job stability, students suffer.

Very hard Prof in that there is no real learning that takes place in class. While her project is very hard theorize, she is exact with what she wants and so you get what you deserve. Final project not in syllubus & never mentioned until 3 weeks before due. That should change. Final grade will be what you got on project if u show up for class.

Is a shame to have professors like Dr. Hall "teaching" future educators. She has no interest in seeing her students succeed. She may have a Phd but lacks the ability to teach. The Education Department should provide her with training on how to help students become better educators (not crush them).

It seemed as if she did not want to teach this class, after meeting for four weeks, she canceled on campus class and made it an online class. The 4 weeks we were there, we watched videos and discussed little. There were 2 projects for the entire semester and i have no idea what i got on them since no grades were ever posted. Dr. Hall is a very smart person who knows a lot about math, yet does not seem to pass along that information in helping students prepare to teach.She was not hard, but not specific in what she wanted.She had the class make an interactive board,a homemade game, 4 group activities, and get trade books, only for her to come in and take pictures of it.

Though I was forced to take her, I want to issue a warning to those who have an option of professors for this course. DO NOT TAKE HER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! She has no clue of current math teaching technology and materials. She grades hard even when you meet her requirements to a tee. This teacher is one of the most obsolete lecturers at NJCU.

She is a disorganized mess! And it shows through in her attempt to teach. Her due dates for assignments and her assignments are never clear She was nice, most of the time. She is a stickler for neat chalkboard writing. I would avoid taking her again.

Dr. Hall is a rollercoaster. I've learned a lot from her in terms of higher order thinking and making games for classes. I do not think she plans adequately for her course, nor is she very organized. My best advice, pour your heart into every piece of work you give to her and think outside the box. It's the only way to an A.

Nice women. She accented games and student invovment yet she did not do in a structured way. She needs to spend more time on how to write excellent lesson plans. Adlibs her lectures. This is pleasant but not high level teaching.

Dr.Hall definitely has a chip on her shoulder, talked about racism a lot and rarely talked about the course itself. She is rather opinionated in grading students instead of grading performance based on assignments given.
