She teaches the honors classes for people who want to think about going beyond a BA or BS. she gives very helpful information about what you need to do and how to do it. If your really a nerd and love school, take her. She will help you go higher in your education goals.

Louanne is a nice teacher but she can get annoyed when she is stressed. She is very knowledgeable in writing and can help you with your thesis. If your in her program and have to time it is a great experience in college.

I thought Louanne was amazing. She may not be the easiest professor, but she's very clear and extraordinarily knowledgeable. In addition, she's a very cool person. She certainly isn't afraid of profanity and doesn't have any problem with her students using it either. Her classes have a very open atmosphere, which I found very unique.

Where to start? She shows up really late (20 mins) for every class and teaches nothing. She talks about her personal life and tells the same pointless stories over and over. Nothing we talked about in class was the least bit useful for the quizzes, yet she gave a quiz every week. I'm certain that I have learned not one useful thing from Louanne.

Lou Anne is amazing! She is one of the most helpful people I've ever met. She will do absolutely anything for her students and is very encouraging. Extremely approachable and funny.

She was the absolute worst teacher for Research Methods. I didn't learn one new thing about methods of research. She was late almost every class session and would answer her phone multiple times during class. Furthermore, she gave quizzes on blackboard that she got from a testbank and never read the Qs ahead of time AND DIDNT KNOW THE ANSWERS!

What can I say? She is the funniest, greatest, easiest, most down-to-earth teacher here. She loves to tell life stories (which are hilarious). Teaches easy, grades easy. Super laid back. VERY AMUSING. First words of day one of first class: "If you dont like cussing you better run for the door!" I LOVE LOUANNE!

This woman is hysterical and very eager to help and to guide. But she took over the class at the last minute so it was a little disorganized and I'm not entirely sure I got anything from it. It was kinda boring. VERY easy presentation on a psych field and a fake grad school packet or job app. due at end of term but it's soooooo easy. Good practice.

She's great.. she knows so much information and her life is so interesting. She tends to curse and frequently goes off topic and can spend the whole class talking about her kids but she's awesome and will definitely go out of her way to help you even if it's not for her class. Definitely take her if you can! I'm taking her again next semester

She is so freaking hilarious its great. She's blunt and up front so don't get offended but she loves her students and will do anything to help you. She does have a strict attendance policy so you have to go and be on time but if you're there are part of her discussion she will like you. Very amusing, very fun, very smart, don't piss her off.

louann completely kicks butt. it doesnt seem like she teaches ina conventional fashion, but i find myself talking about the material i've learned in class to people like my roommates. completely intriguing...true, if you're easily offended, get out or bite your tongue. you'll love her, no doubt. KICKS ASS!

I loved having LouAnne as a teacher so much I took her 2 more times! Islands in Time (Freshmen Honors), Portfolio, and my sophomore honors class (forgot the title) between Fall 2000 and Fall 2001. She was a GREAT teacher! If you're easily offended, steer clear. She has her views, and I have "thin skin," but she is a GREAT teacher!

You have to read the book in order to pass the exams. Write this huge ass paper, and then 2 months later when you get it back expecting feedback there was just a check. Not even proofread. WILL ALWAYS HELP YOU WHEN YOU NEED IT. Very helpful. Somewhat arrogant, but overall a very nice woman.
