Comment:

Very helpful. He teaches very slowly. If you are not good in math, he is perfect for you! I makes it very clear and easy. He lectures for the first hour and the second hour is for your homework and if you have personal questions on any of the work. Quiz and Tests are easy as well, all from the book and homework!

Mr Sallee is very nice, but he can be very confusing and he tends to make mistakes that can also confuse someone trying to learn, or that is already confused.

Prof Sallee is an excellent professor...I have not taken math for more than 30 years and was very fortunate to have had him as a prof. He only demanded your best. He didn't allow calculators which was good. This made one think and work the prob. He made us think. He was very helpful with questions. I would highly rec Prof Sallee.

I don't understand why people would have a problem with Sallee at all.  He goes over everything soooo thoroughly and is kind and gives the students every opportunity to ask questions, not that they would ever need too since he explains everything and the second half of the class is purely devoted to doing your assignments in class so if you have an

He is never clear about answering any questions. If you don't understand something you are better off having someone else show you or learning it yourself. Tests the answers have to be 100% exactly like he wants them, any work, and mis-wording, anything will be wrong, there is no partial credit!

Professor Sallee does intimidate many students because he doesn't allow callculator useage howevere, he explains every thing so clearly; step by step, that you will find that you don't need one at all. He is very helpful and will answer . He explains every formula step by step.

i posted a comment in april of 06 n i typed that he's the worst teacher, but dont judge the book by its covers. if ur 1 of the students who stays in his class for the semester he will give u bonus points in every test. in the beginnnin of the semester i was failing but now im passing the class. thanx salle

This guy is an idiot. I threatened to show his grading style to Caltech math professors that I have connections with. I got transferred immediately to another class. He brags that only 8-10 students will pass his class.

THE WORST TEACHER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF U MAKE 1 TINY MISTAKE ON A PROBLEM THE WHOLE THING IS WRONG.....ON TEST UR GOING TO HAVE TO KNOW DEFINITIONS AND U CANNOT USE THE DEFINITIONS ON THE BOOK. YOU MUST USE THE DEFINITION THAT HE GIVES YOU. HE ALSO PREACHES ON HOW THE AUTHOR OF THE MATH BOOK IS STUPID.

The absolute worst teacher that i have had in my entire life! He is exremely rude and belittles his students. He refuses to help you if you don't understand a certain concept. He is old and always in a bad mood. Even though you have the right answer on tests he will count it wrong because you didn't work the problem "his way". STOP TEACHING SALLEE!

Horrible instructor. Unfair and rude. What he did all semester was preach about how the authors of the book were idiots and how he knew the correct way to do everything. He could have been standing in a room alone teaching and wouldn't know the difference. No half credit, no & no credit even if the answers correct.

great teacher. not flashy or entertaining, but he's consistent and fair. doesn't try to trick you on tests. he's rigid, but that's what you need with math. he's a no-nonsense kind of guy, but i thought he was very patient if you showed that you cared.

He seems to genuinely care about what he's teaching, but unfortunately, that does not make him easy to understand. He words things in a way that makes it nearly impossible to comprehend. I've had to reteach myself everyting from the book once I get home.

He was a terrible angry old man who was unwilling to cut anyone any slack. His test are hard. He counts off for every mistake even when it is scratch work. He doesn't let you use calculators and doesn't give enough time on test. Should not be teaching this level of math. Not a patient man.
