Doty is very knowledgeable in this class! We only had two major papers and a few tests! Nothing too scary or time consuming! I really learned a lot in this class and would highly recommend Doty because she really cares!

Comment:

I loved taking this class with Doty. She is very knowledgeable about this subject and loves to talk about personal experiences while we learn different terms. This class uses the textbook a lot but she is very good at teaching this class overall. At times, it can get boring and her activities can get repetitive but all in all, she's great.

Dr. Doty is a lovely woman, very kind and sweet and always smiling. She is approachable, which is great because expectations for assignments written by the department were incredibly confusing and vague (as usual). Dr. Doty is a phenomenal professor, which is unfortunately rare in the education department.

Dr. Doty is one of the nicest people I've ever met. She is such a peaceful professor and her anecdotes and activities made 223 extremely enjoyable. I really learned a lot in her class. I would love to take another class with her.
