Dr. Schaffer was the very best professor. She will keep you laughing. If you don't like the material by the time she is done with it you will.

Dr. Shaffer is an excellent professor once you get used to her. She is very clear about the requirements of this course, and as long as you pay attention in class and study, you will do fine on the exams.

I started this class in the daytime and was taking De Roche. It was wonderful. I still remember all about Oedipus. However, I got a job and had to transfer to evening classes with Schaeffer and it was NOT GOOD. She deviated quite often from the point and that hurt several people. I received a B+ from the class, but came to her with an A+.

Dr.Schaffer was my professor for two or more of my English classes as well as my advisor. She is very smart and cares for her students. She has inspired me to continue with my education. She rocks. It is because of her reading requirements that I was introduced to some great authors and literature. TAA c/o 05.

Schaffer is hard, but that doesn't mean that she is a bad teacher. I found her class to be entertaining. Now I guess if you are 18 you might not like her style- if you are relax, sit back and hey grow up life's hard.

Very rigid on tests, and in class. A lot of material to learn. This class was taught with two instructors-Maureen DeRoches.
